Motonica P8.0 Base

Motonica P8.0 Base

Yesterday we showed you a preview of the new cars from Motonica which included the R version of the original P8.0 as well as a Classic class pan car. Well now we get a closer look at the P8.0 base, which i couldnt figure out yesterday, and apparently this car is a cheaper starter car based on the original P8.0 4wd car. Although this car is also 4wd from the pictures it appears to have no suspension and no radio plate and must qualify as one of the strangest concepts for a car that i’ve seen in a while.

Blade Racing BX-1

Last week we told you about the Italian company Blade and that they were about to introduce a new 1/8th scale buggy, well here it is. If it looks familiar well thats because it is a re branded Jammin X1-CR but with some different material specifications, which should actually make it pretty handy on the dirty stuff. I dont know anything more than that but when i find something out i’ll let you know.

UPDATE: We now have some close up detail shots of the car

They have also released a set of droop blocks, droop gauge and a ride height gauge to check the settings of your car.

Team Orion CRF Constant Pressure Device

Team Orion CRF Constant Pressure Device

Team Orion have shown this unique and rather innovative constant pressure device (CPD) on their stand at this weeks show in Germany. Created to solve engine tuning problems that arise when you switch from full throttle to low speed, high pressure generated from running at full throttle is still present and it is pushing fuel to the carburettor inlet even though the carburettor is closed. Because of this the mixture will become too rich, causing slower acceleration and wasting fuel. This device solves that.

The CRF CPD acting as a pressure valve system, effectively resolves this problem by regulating the amount of pressure going to the fuel tank. The valve allows a constant amount of pressure to be sent to the fuel tank, by opening or closing itself depending on the engine’s rotation speed.

The eagled eyed amongst you would have noticed this device on Adrien Bertins Kyosho from our photos yesterday.

This new bum bag, or fanny pack for our US readers, comes in this very striking Novarossi blue and features the Novarossi logo on the front with red detailing around the mant storage pockets and thats pretty much it.
