I like this new “Pro Tee” from Trinity, it has a damn cool spray paint design on the front and, an always über cool, strangely placed logo on the rear. It was also very considerate of Trinity to put arms on the Pro Tee now that we are already deep into the cold and depressing winter months. Last weekend saw former European Champion Massimo ‘Max’ Fantini win the ‘Trofeo dei Campioni’ race held at the Mini Autodromo RME Cassino, Italy. The event was attended by 130 racers in 2 classes and in 1/8th scale saw Serpent driver Fantini win in a lights to flag battle ahead of Kyosho racer Danielle Ielasi, Mimmo Calce finished in 3rd. In 1/10th scale it was Raiola Carmine that took the win ahead of Spiniello Mario in 2nd with Sicorello Angelo rounding off the podium in 3rd

The title says it all, the RC Pro Series had their awards banquet for the Nitro Off Road Series and here are the photos. As you can see Tebo and Taylor were there, amongst others, but i don’t see Adam Drake in any of the banquet photos, so lucky we already have a picture of him with his championship winning trophies.

Now i normally don’t post links to product builds or reviews because i like Red RC to be more of a news source but in this case we’ll make an exception. It seems Novarossi were sick of having to use either Serpent’s or Picco’s INS box on their engines so they decided to copy make their own version. Available in Novarossi blue, it sure stands out from the current crop of INS box’s with its funky colour and I’m sure it does what its meant to, but at the end of the day its just yet another copy of the original version Serpent spent so much money and effort initially researching.

Serpent have a report on their site on Kyle Branson, the Serpent Driver Development programs youngest driver. The 13 year old seems to have had a busy and successful season traveling the world and racing.
His first venture onto foreign asphalt was the Dutch 1:10 GP at Heemstede as preparation for the European Championships. This preparartion would stand to Kyle as he successfully defended his European Junior crown in the difficult wet conditions. From there it was on to Australia no less for the 2006 IFMAR 1:10 World Championships in Brisbane.
