Hudy release Truggy toe plate

Slovakian precision tool makers Hudy have announced the release of this new toe plate made specifically for Tuggies and only works with their Universal Exclusive Set-up systems for 1/8th off road cars. The plate is made of high-quality, tough acrylic plastic with precision engraved markings for instant, reliable readings and is available to purchase seperately.

Piktor Rush 2 – First Images

Here are the first pictures of the all new Piktor Rush 2, the French designed buggy that has been in the pipeline for quite a while now. We reported on Saturday that the car and crew had been testing in Taiwan and that it went very good, well here we have the images from that test. The car has a very unique and very low front and rear shock mounting position, a far forward mounted fuel tank and the car also uses pivot ball suspension in the front. To me it looks very nice, especially with the carbon fibre and because of the lack of large shock towers also looks very strong.

Associated TC5 prototype showing great potential

CML Distribution have a report on their site updating us on the progress of the Team Associated TC5 prototype. This belt drive touring car has been doing the rounds for a while now and it all seems to be paying off with Juho Levanen and Craig Drescher taking 3rd and 4th respectively in last weekends TC Carpet World Cup.

In the early practice run on Thursday and Friday both Associated cars were quickly dialed in to the fast but technical track at the CRF facility, using Novak brushless power Craigâ€™s car looked punchy with good straight line speed, still in its development stage the new car delighted Craig and caused a great deal on interest in the pit area.

Ali Graham wins Stock class at CML Carpet Masters

You British racer Ali Graham has dominated the stock class at round 2 of the CML Carpet Masters held last weekend. Driving the TOP Scythe Ali dominated all his qualifiers, setting the fastest times in all 3 to eventually TQ by 3 seconds and then went on to win both his finals to take the overall class win.

Tyler Vik signs for Kyosho

Notch up another big name for the Big K with the news that young US hotshot Tyler Vik has defected from Mugen to Kyosho. I know little about Tyler other than hes been pretty quick for a few years and hes an O’Donnell protegÃ©. I do like his expression in the image above though, you think hes comfortable being the filling in this chick sandwich?

Hot shot US Racer Tyler Vik has in a surprise move, joined Kyosho and left Mugen. Tyler has raced for Mugen and O’Donnell for a number of years. He is one of the hottest prospects to come from So Cal in the last few years, at only 15 years old he has a good while to realize his potential.

Shown above in light blue it can also be purchased in blue, black, gold, gun metal, red, purple & silver and is also available in a different configuration with top mounted fan. With motor temperatures up at the level they are at now, this type of cooling system is vital to prevent damage to your motor.

Bid for Mike Blackstock’s Motor and Cells

Trinity are offering the actual cells and motor from Mike Blackstock’s car that turned the fastest lap during the entire US Indoor Champs week. The current bid is at $100 and the auction ends on the 6th of December so if you want them, you better get your bid in soon. The motors and cells also come with the new Trinity long sleeve tee that we featured a while back.

That’s right, you can have Mike Blackstocks motor and battery that he turned the fastest lap the whole week at the US Indoor Championships in Cleveland. Mike used a Trinity N40 motor and in the last round of 4 cell modified qualifying ran a fastest lap of 10.5 which was .2’s of a second faster than any other lap turned at the race.

HoBao Hyper Truggy RTR

ModellismoRC.net are claiming the scoop on the first pictures of the new RTR from HoBao. This car as you can see is not actually ready to run, what with it having no engine, exhaust or radio gear but of course the final sale versions will have everything included. This particular car will be raced by Joseph Quagraine in the truggy class at this months Neo Invitational race.
