SRT DH85W 85KG All-metal High-torque Servo

SRT has launched a new 85Kg All-metal High-torque Servo to it waterproof series that is suited for 1:5 and 1:6 use.  The new DH85W is an all-metal servo with double bearings, torque up to 85KG at 8.4V, and stainless steel gears to ensure better gear strength during the driving process of large scale model cars.  It is ideal for most of the 1:5, 1:6 scale crawlers, monster truck, short course truck and other models, such as Axial SCX6 , Losi’s Super Baja Rey and Super Rock Rey, Arrma’s Kraton RTR, Kraton EXB, Outcast RTR and Outcast EXB.  The 15T output gear is a perfect upgrade servo option.

T-Works RC8B4.1e Aluminium Motor Mount

New from T-Works is this Aluminium Motor Mount for the Team Associated RC8B4.1e 1:8 Electric Buggy.  Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, it is an upgrade replacement for the original kit 4.1e motor mount ensuring greater stability and precise position of the motor while the model car is running.  Using an additional motor mount can also more effectively distribute the weight of the motor and the vibrations generated during operation, thus reducing the pressure and potential wear.

Xray X4 CFF Extra Soft Upper Arm

New from Xray for its X4 1:10 Electric Touring Car is an Extra Soft CFF (Carbon Fibre Fusion) Upper Arm.  The extra soft arm with thinner carbon generates more mechanical traction of the car and improves side traction.  While the softer arm is slightly more fragile, it is recommended for very low & low traction asphalt and carpet tracks.  The upper arm shape conforms around the inner shock position for proper clearance without compromising strength and improve steering and both forward traction and lateral traction.  This design improves durability and eliminates radial play for maximum precision and control from the upper arms.

WIRC GT4R-1 1:8 GT Chassis

Italian Onroad and Offroad chassis manufacturer WIRC Racing has released its latest 1:8 GT kit, the GT4R-1.  Teasing the release of the new car over the last few weeks, the key features of the latest kit is a new suspension design that boasts an 11 mm lower front and rear suspension for enhanced stability. The car includes a redesigned radio plate and optimised weight distribution for improve car control. Additionally, the GT4R-1 is equipped with a new braking system which is says ensures reliable stopping power.  Earlier in the year WIRC announced a new larger brake disc for its 1:8 GT Nitro chassis.

Bernadzik Top Seed at Asian Buggy Championship Rd 3

Team Associated’s Alex Bernadzik will start Nitro buggy qualifying as the top seed at the third round of the Asian Buggy Championship which is taking place at Pine Hills Dirt Racing’s unique oiled-surface track in Brisbane, Australia.  2023 Australian National Champion Bernadzik, who posted a TQ run at the previous round of the Scotty Ernst promoted championship in the Philippines, took the seeding top spot with a last-chance run ahead of Round 2 podium finisher Ryan Pavidis.  Pavidis, who is making his first visit to Australia, has switched chassis brands since the Philippine Masters and is now running Mugen.  Christian Wolhuter (Australia) took his Sworkz to third in seeding, followed by Tekno twins, Australia’s Caleb Noble and US driver Walker Spinrad.  A podium finisher at the season opener in New Zealand, Kyosho’s Kyle McBride returns to the series and will start qualifying sixth.  Bernadzik made it two-from-two when he topped eBuggy seeding, this time ahead of Noble and Pavidis with Spinrad, Australian TLR pilot Aaron Dexter and McBride rounding out the top six.  Caleb Noble topped seeding in a small Nitro Truggy field, with Nathan Healy (Tekno) going fastest in eTruggy.  Paul Ciccarello brought his Xray all the way from the US to dominate the two 45+ buggy classes.  Qualifying kicks off Friday morning local time with the first of four rounds of qualifying.
