Italian engine manufacturer Nova Engines has announced the signing of reigning multiple British 1:8 Onroad National Champion Alex Thurston. Founded by former top Italian onroad racer Stefano Colombini in 2022, Nova Engines will power the well known international British racers 2025 season. Top Australian racer Jeff Hamon has announced he has joined Electric Touring Car newcomer RC Maker. The Australian, who announced his departure from Serpent last week, joins the Australia’s first touring car manufacturer which is the realisation of a life long dream of another of the country’s top drivers Ryan Maker who released the SP1 in August. Focused on high-performance parts for 1:10 offroad, new German brand Kaaak Racing has released its new 13mm shock bodies set for TLR 1:10 cars. The shocks are compatible with parts from the 3mm G3 shocks by TLR, with the exception that 13mm pistons are required. It is particularly noteworthy that the inner surface of the T7075 shock body material has been left uncoated, with a focus on achieving a high surface quality instead. Xray has announced Electric Touring Car racer Nicolas Lee has joined their factory team. Having announced his departure from Yokomo during the week, the Singapore driver joins the Slovakian manufacturer for a race programme that includes the legendary TITC race in Thailand in February, the FEMCA Championship, the Hudy Series in Asia, AOC and the annual SIGP in Xiamen, China.
