Revolution Design RC8B4.1 Alu Rear Brace Mount

As reported on during our coverage of the IFMAR 1:8 Offroad World Championship in Spain, Revolution Design Racing Products new RC8B4.1 Aluminium Rear Brace Mount is now available. A direct replacement for the standard composite plastic part, the brace mount connects the rear chassis brace to the rear gearbox on your Team Associated RC8B4.1 or RC8B4 buggy. The mount is machined from high-quality black-anodised aluminium, featuring chamfered edges and a laser-etched RDRP logo, giving your buggy a factory look while significantly boosting durability. The refined design enhances durability and ensures balanced flex characteristics, which translate to improved performance on the track. ONE .12 | .21 Engine Tool Kits

ONE, the engine brand of Italian chassis manufacturer Capricorn, has released a new engine tool kit for professional engine maintenance. Available specifically for .12 or .21 engines, it includes a press system with integrated thrust bearings to accurately and effortlessly press the front and rear engine bearings. Universal components work with .12 or .21 motors whose bearings are respectively .12 rear 12/21/5 front 7/17/5 and .21 rear 14/25, 4/6 front 7/19/6. Extractor devices dedicated to removing the rear bearings are also available for .21 and .12 engines respectively diameter 14 and 12.

Nova S3R “Ricky Slater” World Champion Edition

In recognition of the their engine’s victory at the 2024 1:8 Stockcar World Championship, Italian engine manufacturer Nova Engines has released a “Ricky Slater’ World Champion Edition of their S3R engine. As the reigning British, Dutch and European Champion, Slater added the World title to his CV at the end of August at the Adur Model Car Club oval track in the South of England. Nice recognition of this long established niche RC class, the 3.5cc 3-port engine features a 50mm S3RWC Edition cooling head and an aluminium 9 mm Low-profile carb venturi. Running a 15,94mm bore and 17,5mm stroke, internally the engines has a Turbo Head Button, a DLC coated Balanced Crankshaft and a Turbo Backplate.

2024 SIGP International Offroad GP – Registration

Sunpadow, the organisers of the SIGP International Offroad Grand Prix which makes a return to the international racing calendar this year, have announced that registration will open on November 1st at www.arc-chn.com . Counting Germany’s Joern Neumann and American Ryan Lutz as past Champions, the SIGP International Offroad Grand Prix takes place at the 3-circle ARC International RC Racing Track in Xiamen, China, from December 11-15. The same venue that hosted the 2017 IFMAR 1:10 Electric Offroad World Championships, the race schedule will be made up of 5 classes including racing for 1:4 offroad bikes. With the main action expected in 1:8 Nitro Buggy and 1:8 eBuggy, a number of international drivers are expected to be announced shortly to battle it out for some of the SIGP’s total prize money of almost $25,000. Avid XB2 ’24/25 Arm Mounts | Rear Roll Center Holder

Avid Racing Concepts is testing the market with a limited release of a number of new aftermarket parts for the Xray XB2 ’24/25 1:10 2WD Buggy. The -2° C Arm Mount was first innovated by the US company for the B6.3 and has turned into a must-have if you are racing on high bite surfaces such as carpet or turf. This mount frees up the vehicle in the turns and when landing jumps sideways such as corner tabletops. Typically, to get to the low rear toe settings that you need on carpet, you have to start narrowing the pills through the D Mount which is increasing side bite by decreasing your track-width. Their C Arm mount prevents that from happening by widening the C pivot block, thus starting you at 1 deg of rear toe with centered pills on the C and D mount instead of 3.

New from Yokomo is this Aluminium Center Link for their RO/SO Series of 1:10 2WD buggies. It significantly improves rigidity, reducing sway during cornering by upgrading the material. The use of a bearing in the actuating part that connects to the steering wiper ensures smooth steering, even under applied torque. The link enhances cornering response, allowing for sharper and more precise driving.
