Fenix Racing G12 & G56 front end options

From Fenix Racing for their G12 and G56 come some new front end option parts. For the G12 and G56 there is now the ability to run the CRC long upper arms using a new carbon brace and upper arm mounting plates for each car. Exclusively for the G56 there is a wider front suspension mounting plate and brace that is 4mm wider than the regular part which allows the user to mount the wide CRC front end, suitable for fast flowing tracks.

Coming in at 440x350mm it is designed to hold all your setup tools including the setup board, set up system and blocks. Maclan Racing M32t series ESC

Maclan Racing have announced their all new M32t series competition ESC for on road and off road applications. Available in 2 variants, Pro 160 and Pico 100. It is based on the extremely successful 32-bit MCU platform with many significant upgrades including an upgraded CPU with twice the memory capacity. Sporting a smaller footprint (2mm shorter in length) and lighter weight (3g in weight) than its predecessor, it use a new USB Type-C connector, refined algorithm and profiles, new 150% throttle punch and 2-stage dynamic brake PWM function and 10 Hz high definition data logging.

Yukijiro Umino joins Team Serpent as designer/manager

Serpent has announced that former Yokomo touring car designer and top mechanic Yukijiro Umino has joined them in a designer/manager role. Away from the sport for 3 years, Umino was responsible for designing some of the most successful touring cars in recent years and was well known as Ronald Volker’s mechanic, their partnership culminating in the 2016 World title. Umino had the following to say about the deal:

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Joaquin and Mr. Lau for giving me this great opportunity for joining Team Serpent. During the past three years I was away from the RC racing scene. However, my passion and motivation have never stopped. And now it is the time for me to move on. I will continue to come up with innovative ideas and create cars that will please everyone. Other than that, I will be involved not only in the races, but in all aspects of Serpent, so you can count on me.

T-Works TC-01 aluminium & carbon options

For the Tamiya TC-01, T-Works have produced even more new option parts. Starting with a 7075-T6 aluminium motor plate mount & graphite front upper plate, the set removes flex around the drivetrain, while new graphite front stiffeners increase the rigidity of the car’s tub chassis. The suspension rockers receive new aluminium rocker posts and for the front and rear of the car there are new ECS drive shafts.
