Hudy universal conrod puller

New from Hudy, the universal conrod puller simplifies engine disassembly for maintenance or repair. This unique puller is used to disconnect the conrod from the crankshaft, making it much easier to remove a new or tight conrod from the engine. The conrod is safely removed by clamping the black anodised aluminium fork behind the conrod and turning the wheel. Suitable for all standard .12 and .21 engines, the black anodised fork body is machined from lightweight aluminium with the high quality spring steel puller shaft providing extra strength.

2021 Speed King Tour Rd2 – Report

The second round of the 2021 Speed King Tour took place last weekend at the NEXT circuit in Chiba prefecture. Although the second round had been planned for the TM Circuit Wakayama outdoor tarmac track on the same day, it had to be replaced due to Covid-19. The Wakayama round will be held at a later date. Super Stock, Stock and Modified classes were run at the event, the same as round one. Super Stock class entrants used the G-Force ESC, motor and Super RC (Radicon) original battery pack. And the race motor is lent by the organiser. After three rounds of Modified class qualifying, Yugo Nagashima put in the fastest laps and times with his Serpent car, but RUSH driver Hayato Ishioka beat Yugo at the Super lap qualifying session.

Xtreme Aerodynamics She-Rock 1/10 FWD body

Xtreme Aerodynamics have introduced a new 1/10 FWD class body shell, named the She-Rock. Because of the limited power and the understeer nature of this category, deep CFD analysis have been carried out to maximise corner speed and aero efficiency. Every section has been studied to optimise the global flow, bonnet shape, front spoiler, side skirt and roof details are examples. Extensive testing showed a smooth handling, fast transition and optimal aero balance on mid corner resulting in overall performance improvement and consistency.

Tungsten alloy screws from Inertia Screws

Inertia’s Tungsten Alloy formula makes for a very durable and extremely heavy screw, weighing twice that of a standard steel screw. This means you’ll have more weight in the most optimum location possible in the car, the chassis. Adding weight this way will result in a better handling car, a car that is more forgiving and easier to drive and will allow a noticeable increase in corner speed. Available in sizes M3x4, 5, 6, 8, 10mm and 4-40 x 1/4 and 3/8”.

FX Engines tease new G501 motor

More teasers from FX Engines, this time for the G501. Again we have little to no further information to go on, the name would suggest a 5 port engine, while the G could mean that it is specific to the GT class. We will know more soon enough.

Exotek EB410.2 & ET410.2 heavy duty rear hub set

From Exotek come this new heavy duty alloy rear hub set for the EB410.2 and ET410.2. Switching the ball stud to an upright angle, the part still matches the stock geometry, but makes for easier roll centre adjustments by adding washers (not included) and the hubs are omnidirectional so that they can be mounted on either side of the vehicle. Extra durable for high powered applications and polished and anodised in Tekno team colours, they are then machined a second time to insure precise bearing fit.
