Muchmore 2-cell balanced charging lead with volt meter

Muchmore have released this 2-cell balanced charging lead with built-in volt meter. Featuring 4mm & 5mm multi bullet plugs, their 4 point contacts provide ultra low resistance and the 10awg wire is suitable for high amperage charging. With the meter, battery voltage can be checked in real time and when not charging you can also check the current battery voltage. Available in left or right configuration.

Team Associated SR10 Dirt Oval RTR

Team Associated is entering the street stock dirt oval racing class with its SR10 Dirt Oval RTR. Often overlooked in the mainstream, dirt track racing is one of the most exciting forms of tire-scorching car racing action. The SR10 Dirt Oval Race Car is based on the 9-time ROAR Short Course National Championship winning trucks and features a water-resistant high-power Reedy brushless speed control and 3300kV brushless motor, a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system as well as their all new DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control) receiver unit with built-in adjustable digital gyro. Add to that a Reedy metal-gear digital high-torque servo and a water-resistant enclosed receiver box. All of this packaged together in a factory-finished body with integrated rear spoiler. And to keep you sticking to the terrain, this SR10 beast will keep you cornering with the included high-grip street stock-inspired treaded tires and lightweight wheels.

JConcepts announce INS11 & NCTS3 series

JConcepts have announced the complete schedule for the INS11 and NCTS3 events. For the first time, the INS will start in the centre of the United States at the Hobby Plex in Omaha, Nebraska while the NCTS will kick-off once again at 702 Raceway in Las Vegas, Nevada. 4 events scheduled on each series provides the opportunity for racers to score their best finishes in 3 of 4 events to chase the championship in each series. The JConcepts events provides drivers with an array of classes to choose from to compete nationally or on a race by race basis. However the racer choses to participate, rest assured knowing, locations, dates and facilities have been carefully selected for the ultimate 1/10th off-road experience.

Jackie Shum joins Serpent Hong Kong

Serpent have signed top Hong Kong driver Jackie Shum to their regional team. A veteran of the HK scene and well known across Asia, the former Yokomo team driver had this to say:

First of all, I would like to thank Serpent for giving me the opportunity to join Serpent EP on-road team. It is for sure a great pleasure of me to be part of the team. I have tested the car for a couple weeks and I can say that the car is great. From now on, I will help develop and promote Serpent brand with my other teammates.

Xpress Execute XQ10F FWD chassis

Xpress have released a complete FWD version of their Execute XQ10 featuring a FWD drivetrain combined with a more centrally located centre of gravity. By moving the centre pulley, the motor has been moved forwards as well, putting more weight forward and changing the weight balance. Combined with a purpose shaped chassis deck, which is the result of extensive testing, combined with shorty LiPos offer the best chassis flex. Retaining the screw holes which allow for the installation of the rear T-Plate, this lets you limit the amount of rear flex as well. The topdecks also have Xpress’ signature flex elimination design integrated which allows you to further fine tune the chassis flex.

Onisiki full aluminium case drift servo

Onisiki have introduced their new full aluminium case drift steering servo. Fitted with special software optimised for RWD drifting, it has been designed to work with the vast majority of gyros on the market for improved control. The servo sports Onisiki’s signature markings that match their other accessories such as esc, fans, gyros and capacitors.

Fuller & Tebo win at Tekno RC Winter series Rd2

The second round of the Tekno RC 1:8 Winter Series at the Plex at the Hobbyplex did not disappoint. Mason Fuller (TLR) and Jared Tebo (Tekno) would be going at it again, just as they had in the opening round, fighting super close in qualifying. Jared would take the TQ in Pro Nitro Buggy, Mason in Pro Electric Buggy. The Tekno driver would try a new setup and go long on his stops, and while the pole man could battle closely with Mason, following the first pit stop Jared just couldn’t hang on anymore and lost touch. He would then battle with Tom Rinderknecht (TLR) who also got passed and in the end had to settle for 3rd, behind winner Fuller and runner up Rinderknecht. In the 10 minute Pro Electric Main, Jared would challenge Mason early and they would pass each other a few different times. The race was shaping up to be an awesome battle but with Tebo leading, Mason had a problem and dropped out of the race giving the Tekno driver an easy win. The Xray pairing of Zac Gastelum and Ashton Abdul completed the podium.
