SJT rubber 1/12th scale tires

SJT have introduced these innovative rubber 1/12th scale tires for GT12 pan car classes which offers a simple low cost alternative to foam tires. Where a foam tire is good for 3-4 runs, SJT tires can produce consistent performance for 50-60 runs or more. Developed and tested in the United States, SJT Tires held an exhibition class at the 2021 ROAR Carpet Nationals and the new tire required no change to existing 12th scale chassis. Works well with a spool and minimal spring changes, there is no tire truing, no side wall glueing, no one run tires. Typically the tires are .5 seconds slower per lap but 50x longer life. Rubber tire 12th scale removes the constant ride height adjustment and are ready to race directly out of the package. Only one compound is offered and they are supplied in diameter 40.8mm front & 41.3mm rear.
