ONG Shock caps & membrane set

ONG have introduce their new shock caps which have been made in Italy in Ergal 7075 T6 and then hard anodised and branded with the ONG logo on the front. The 6 upper machined pockets on the cap have a dual purpose, reducing the weight of the cap, making it the lightest on the market as well as helping with heat dissipation. The 3 bleed holes coupled to the new membranes will allow a rebound close to 0 and a homogeneous response between the shock absorbers once closed. The kit includes 12 membranes with 3 different hardnesses that will allow you to vary the behaviour of the shock absorber based on the track, the driving style and temperature.

Jamie Hall takes EssexCarpetClash Rd2

Last weekend saw round 2 of the EssexCarpetClash championship take place. The track was a little challenging in places to get a perfect lap, but was rewarding when you did. After 4 rounds qualifying, Jamie Hall showed his talent by topping the time sheets for all rounds with his Associated. The rest of the field would then place their best times to get as high up the 8 field grid for the 3 legged finals. William Venables managed to secure second on the grid with his Associated ride, while Yasir Mughal had a good consistent qualifying to place third ahead of fellow Yokomo driver Harley Eldridge. The finals would go the same way as qualifying for Hall, never looking back and taking all leg wins in the finals. Mughal would get caught up with a few errors in the finals, where as Eldridge would keep her head and run clean, managing to finish second in two of the finals. Venables would complete the podium in third, where his second place finish in leg 2 would be a key counting score.
