ISDT K2 AC/DC dual charger

ISDT, new sponsor of World Champion Naoto Matsukura, has announced their new K2 AC/DC dual charger. Able to output 200W in AC mode or 500W in DC mode in each of the two output channels, it can output up to a maximum of 30 volts. Able to support all major battery chemistries it is also able to discharge at 15W in each channel. The device features a 2.8″ IPS LCD display that has a 178° visible viewing angle and displays the relevant information clearly for each output. A compact footprint of 142 x 135 x 64mm it is also not too heavy for such a powerful charger, weighing in at 700grams.

More new items from Exotek Racing for TLR22 based street eliminator cars. Firstly there are these precision machined titanium 12mm wide front hex axle set for +6mm overall wider width for more stability and less body roll. At only 4.5 grams per pair they are almost as strong as steel but nearly half the weight and not easily bent as the aluminium axles. Rounded and angled hex profile makes wheel installation extra quick and easy. Also for the same car but the rear, these wide clamping heavy duty hex sets (8mm each) allows easy mounting, without spacers, of Proline and JConcepts street eliminator wheels.

Aerox 1/10th offroad ride height gauge

Schumacher have introduced the new Aerox 1/10th offroad ride height gauge. Precision machined and black anodised for a cool look, this simple but effective ride height gauge is a must have for all 1/10th offroad racers. The gauge has simple steps in 0.5mm increments from 12 to 24mm to suit all track surfaces and applications and the numbers are easily viewed from the top or the side.

Xray T4’21 aluminium extra flex chassis

For the T4’21, Xray have released this aluminium chassis plate with special cutout openings for increased flex. This chassis is recommended for low traction carpet tracks and high traction asphalt tracks. Made from 2mm thick black anodised Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the new plate aims to give more predictable handling in the recommended conditions.

T-Works turnbuckle ball-end mounting tool

T-Works have released a pair of turnbuckle ball-end mounting tool. Made from hard coated aluminium, the tip is available for Xray, Yokomo, Infinity, Tamiya & ARC 1/10 TC ball ends and separately for the Tekno 1/10 Buggy ball ends. The tool holds the ball end to prevent rotation when adjusting the turnbuckle. Each tool sports a lightweight aluminium handle and red plastic top for comfortable operation.

In Memoriam: Angelo Gesualdi

The sad news has reached us that Angelo Gesualdi has passed away. Few people we have met in more than 3 decades of racing shared the passion for our sport as much as he did. Best known to us racers as the head of the Mini Autodromo Jody Scheckter Fiorano track in the heart of Ferrari country, our experiences of him from attending ENS races was of a man who was always running around ensuring everyone and everything at his track was being well taken care of and enjoying their time at his track. When there was ‘down time’ he was to be seen in the pitlane and on the grid starting races with his ever present tricolour. There is a reason the Fiorano track is ever present on race calendars and why everyone from ENS to EFRA to RC brands want to hold races there. The facilities are second to none, the restaurant is fantastic but most of all the people, a lot of whom are his own family, although everyone was treated as family regardless, all shared the same passion and kindness as Angelo did and it is this infectious enthusiasm and how welcome he made everybody feel that we will remember about him most. Our condolences to his family, RC racing has lost a shining light.
