Ruddog Hobby LiPo battery pack line

The new Ruddog Hobby LiPo battery packs are a new line of rugged high-performance batteries for the RC enthusiast. Designed with the needs of entry level racers, bashers and crawler pilots in mind, all batteries are built using high-quality 50C cells for great power supply while durable hardcases ensure best possible battery protection in the event of a crash. The batteries are available in a range of capacities with 7.4V 2S, 11.1V 3S and 14.8V 4S packs being available, covering the needs of 1/10th scale racers, speed freaks as well as 1/8th scale pilots alike. All packs come pre-wired with high-quality plugs specially selected for the given application.

Infinity body post cutter

The Infinity body post cutter from Creation Model enables you to cut and then easily chamfer the ends of plastic body posts up to 6mm in diameter. Place the post in the first hole and use and X-Acto knife to cut the post cleanly. Move the newly shortened post into the 2nd hole and have the tool mounted blade cut a chamfer on the top of the post by rotating it. Made from black and red anodised aluminium.

Apolaro, Morganti & Kemper win US Nitro Onroad Nats

This past weekend the 2020 ROAR Nitro Onroad Nationals were held at the RCRCNT track in Texas. The RCRCNT venue stepped in after the original venue was unable to host the event due to Covid-19 restrictions. In the 1/8 scale class it was Bryce Butterfield (Serpent) that would take the overall TQ on what was a particularly challenging track. In the main final DJ Apolaro (Hot Race/Max Power/Protoform) would get the win by 4 laps ahead of Brian Thomas (Mugen/Hot Race) in 2nd and Eric Dennett (Capricorn/Hot Race) a further 4 laps back in 3rd. In the Sedan class, it was Chris Tosolini (Serpent) coming out on top in qualifying, taking the tie break with Paolo Morganti (Capricorn) who would have to settle for 2nd on the grid. In the hour long final however Morganti would win by 6 laps from Tosolini in 2nd, while Felix Law (Serpent) would come from 10th on the grid to claim the final podium spot in 3rd. In the 1/8th Masters class Chris Kemper (Capricorn) would win from pole position in front of the world famous Scotty Ernst (Infinity/Hot Race) in 2nd, a lap back, with Ashton Brinson (Capricorn) completing the top 3.

ORCA BP1001 Blinky Pro stock ESC

The new ORCA Blinky Pro was developed with blinky stock class racing in mind and features all the necessary options to adjust the ESC to your liking, while remaining in blinky mode at all times. As expected it it doesn’t offer any boost or turbo timing options, but does have many useful adjustments such as braking, punch and general feel to help you get everything dialled in just right. The 100A current limit can handle motors down to 10.5T and a nice option is the ability to run with an RPM limit of 17,500rpm.

AMR Plug holder with loupe

Auto Model Racing have released an interesting tool, a glowplug holder with integrated loupe. Made from black anodised aluminium, the plug holder part of the tool holds up to 6 turbo plugs and 2 standard plugs and protects the filament part of the plug from dust and other debris as well as making it easier to manage used plugs. The loupe, or magnifying lens, then allows you to closely inspect the condition of the glow plug’s filament.

Hong Nor 2-speed GT clutch bell & shoes

Hong Nor have announced a newly developed 2-speed clutch-bell for their GT car. Made from nickel coated aluminium, this new option part is designed to work best with their new composite clutch shoes. Together these two parts are not only lighter, they offer better heat dissipation which improves engine power and helps improve engine idling.

Arrma have released an EXB full option roller version of their Mojave 6S BLX 1/7th scale 4WD Desert Racer. Born from the biggest airs and harshest terrain, this car comes loaded out of the box with the toughest materials and most resilient design features, just strap in your preferred electronics and go. This version includes tons of aluminium parts as standard including a cool etched chassis, front and rear shock towers, front and rear chassis brace, top plate, servo mount and front upper hanger. The transmission has also been beefed up with a limited slip front and centre differential, while for durability the turnbuckles and front upper hinge pins are now heavy duty steel. The whole package is topped off with and exclusive EXB matte & gloss finish body with gunmetal coloured wheels.

Xtra Speed SCX10 III flex suspension kit

More new products for the Axial SCX10 III from Xtra Speed who have released this extensive upgrade kit. The kit relocates the rear shocks to a lower position to give more flex and so can also be used for mounting a flatbed at the rear of the truck.
