JConcepts Starfish & Coil front & rear wheels

Drag racing continues its rise in the radio control scene and the street eliminator cars are hot commodities. As racers manage to successfully tune in for more performance, they also ask for more options. JConcepts have introduced a wide range of wheels starting with the Starfish Mambo beadlock. The 3-piece design pinches and holds the Mambos tire assembly together while providing one of the most scale looks on the circuit. The drag cars turn serious RPM’s, and the tires are under tremendous centrifugal force while in acceleration. The beadlock setup is constantly under stress to hold the assembly together. The Starfish beadlock wheel is a 5 spoke option delivered in time for the most hardcore street racers wanting to run the wider rear tire option. The inner ring structure with massive ribs fit inside the tire and provides the main base of the beadlock. The inner ring will seat into the radial openings on the tire located on the inside and outside near the bead. The wheels fit a vast number of vehicles for anyone looking to undertake a Street Eliminator project and accept a 12mm hex drive. Popular vehicles which use the Starfish Mambo wheels include, the Traxxas Slash, Bandit, Rustler as well as the popular line-up of Team Associated short course trucks and now, the purpose built DR10.

Yeah Racing YD2 curved steering slide rack kit

From Yeah Racing comes this aluminium curved steering rack kit for Yokomo’s YD-2 series. Providing a better Ackermann effect, it reduces the effect of bump steer which gives a more consistent drift due to the consistent toe-in/out. The kit includes the curved steering rack assembly, bulkhead, top deck mount, stiffeners, turnbuckles and all necessary mounting hardware.

Xtreme Aerodynamics CZ1 1/10th nitro body

Xtreme Aerodynamics have introduced the CZ1, a state-of-art 1/10 Nitro body. Developed using advanced CFD technique and meticulously tested on different track conditions and layouts, the CZ1 is able to generate an outstanding amount of downforce thus massively improving overall performance in term of traction and corner speed. Deep analysis have been carried out on balance consistency though all corner phases in order to provide predictive and smooth handling. Furthermore, the wing is prepared to work with Xtreme carbon side plates, with the profile already marked for easier cutting. These optional plates increase rear stability in high speed corner and high slip angle condition. EFRA approved.

Firstly there s the small footprint weights to get your car well balanced and up to race weight even if the space is very limited. Available as 5g. and 10g. versions with round corners as well as polished top and lower surfaces. There is also a 12 gram weight designed to fit under the receiver of your car. The weight matches perfectly with the Sanwa RX-491 and RX-493 receivers as well as it can be used with any other receivers. The final set of weights are meant to fit under speed controllers, especially under the light stock version esc’s from various brands. Available in 15gram and 20gram versions.

STRC DR10 shock bushings, hex adapters & bulkhead

More items from STRC for the DR10 starting with their precision CNC machined aluminium upper shock bushings for the DR10, which helps remove any slop in the upper shock mounting points. New rear hex adapters improves the durability over the stock plastic pieces and provides a solid contact to the rear drive wheels. Available in anodised Black, Blue, Gun metal and limited edition Orange. Finally a brass front bulkhead adds over 47 grams to the front nose of the DR10, keeping the front end down during hard launches off the line. Available in black.

Schumacher Mi7 brass shorty LiPo weight set

New from Schumacher for the Mi7 touring car is this brass shorty LiPo weight set. The set offers perfect central weight balance placement when using shorty batteries in the Mi7 and provides a significantly lower centre of gravity which in turn makes the car easier to drive and have more corner speed. Especially useful on carpet or small outdoor tarmac tracks with modified motors, it is only compatible with the V2 alloy chassis which can be identified with the additional LiPo mount holes and was shipped after 30/10/2020. In total it adds 93g, the perfect amount when switching from stick to shorty LiPo’s.
