The inaugural Norwegian Scala Class 2 Nationals were held in Molen in the Southeast of Norway with 39 entries for the event. The race took place on six different courses and it soon became clear that the fight for the top positions would be between Paul Erik Bastiansen (SCXHR/Holmes Hobbies) and Robin Slåttekjær (SCX2-based/Tekin) with Erling Trolsrud (TRX4-based/Holmes Hobbies).
