…South American Off-road Championships. The event attracted drivers from many different countries including US boy Kris Moore of Mugen USA. The TQ honours in the Nitro Buggy class went to Agustin Cutini while in the Truggy class the TQ was set by Adrian Castro. In the Buggy final Agustin Cutini (Mugen) was able to conserve his qualifying performance to come out successful in front of Sebastian Recio (Mugen) and Adrian Castro (Mugen) while in the Truggy class Adrian Castro (Mugen) grabbed the title. Agustin Cutini (Mugen) came in 2nd, Marco Amaral (TLR) rounded out the podium. Made for the X1 formula car are new aluminium eccentric bushings from Xray. Available are 1 dot 1.5°-2.0° and 2 dot 1.0°-2.5° camber as well as 1 dot 6°-9° and 2 dot 3°-12° caster bushings that replace the standard composite ones. Coming in pairs the parts are made from orange anodised 7075 aluminium for improved durability and they are marked for easy identification. Novarossi introduce the Rex Legend.28-8 8-port truggy and monster truck nitro engine. The short stroke engine is based on the previously announced Legend.28 and it offers a newly designed liner for improved performance and RPM. The engine features a 14mm turbo crankshaft, 9mm composite carburettor and steel ball bearings with a ceramic bearing version also being available. The 4.66cc engine is coming in a standard, recoil pull starter and rotostart version to make it usable for a range of applications including RTR monster trucks. Both of these racers will join Cavalieri and the World’s best to compete for the 2015 Invitational title.
