FTX Outback Texan 1/10 Trail RTR

Inspired by the classic pick-ups from the 1940’s and 50’s the new FTX Texan blends old school retro looks with the latest in RC crawler chassis design. The classic cab body features scale exhaust stack, external airfilter, moulded grill, mirrors, wipers and a moulded flat-bed rear roll cage with spare tyre, they have even included two different decals for the rear flat bed, choose either a panel wood or checkerplate finish. The Texan features no body clips or posts, with a magnetic fixing at the front and hinged rear for smooth, uncluttered scale looks and easy, quick chassis access. Underneath the Texan features a low profile, cantilever rear shock absorber set-up to provide the platform for a flatbed rear assembly. Moulded internal wheel arch lining and side floors add further scale realism, along with beadlock wheels and dust cap.

Officina RC A800 tungsten copper screw kits

Officina RC have presented two screw kits dedicated to the Awesomatix A800 using their tungsten/copper screws. Made in Italy, the screw kits are named rich and millionaire, the former made up of 21 screws, 13 M3x5mm screws replace the original ones for fixing the bulkheads and the motor mount, while the 8 M3x6mm are used for fixing the arms. The millionaire kit is composed by 18 M3x5mm screws, 8 M3x6mm and 7 M3x8mm ones, the additional screws for the servo mount and the bellcrank, as well as for the bar mount and bumper.

T-Works MBX8 & RC8 steel centre driveshaft sets

T-Works have released these optional steel centre dogbone driveshaft sets for the Mugen MBX8 and Team Associated RC8 B3.1/3.2. Includes two high-quality steel centre driveshafts as well as heavy duty steel couplers for the diff input gears. T-Works have also previously released a similar version of this set with alloy driveshafts.

1up Racing have released their new hotly anticipated ultra lightweight turnbuckles. Finely CNC machined from top-grade 7075-T6 raw material sourced in the United States, the beautiful silver chamfers shine bright when viewed from the side providing an outstanding visual effect against the satin black anodised finish. The signature 1up arrow is laser etched on 2 sides of the 4mm lug to clearly identify the thread direction making installation a breeze. Complimenting the new turnbuckles, the 1up Racing 4mm Turnbuckle multi-wrench fits these like a glove and now sports silver chamfers making it the perfect pairing. Sets are now available for the Team Associated DR10, Awesomatix A800MMX/MMCX, Xray T4’20 and Yokomo BD10 with additional fitments and pairs coming soon.

Factory Team RC8T3.2 carbon fibre inserts

New from Team Associated’s Factory Team brand are these optional carbon fibre inserts for the RC8T3.2 suspension arms. These 1.2mm thick carbon fibre inserts replace the stock plastic inserts and offer improved stiffness and a clean factory team look. When switching to the new inserts, it is recommended to use a shorter M3x6mm BHCS for the two inner hinge pin locations and a M3x6mm FHCS for the others. Fits the RC8T3.2 and T3.2e suspension arms

Rêve D R-tune front spring

New from Rêve D are these R-tune series 2WS (two-way short) style front springs. The design has proved very popular due to its overwhelming control performance. Compared to the current 2WS front spring, which are good all around springs, these new versions have improved control and response time, especially on rebound. The lineup consists of two types, soft and hard.

Double win for Adam Izsay at RcProf Cup Rd2

Round 2 of the Hungarian RcProf Cup was held on last weekend close to Budapest. In the hotly contested 4wd buggy class it was Adam Izsay that took the TQ after qualifying, just ahead of Zsolt Bajusz in 2nd. In the finals, Adam could convert his TQ spot into wins in all the finals with Gabor Forrai finishing runner up and Szabolcs Konya in 3rd. In 2wd buggy class Izsay also took the TQ and win in all finals, with Janos Pittman coming home 2nd and Karoly Izsay, father of Adam, in 3rd.
