Infinity snap ring pliers

Infinity have introduced their new snap ring pliers for the use with 10mm to 50mm internal and external snap rings. The pliers include three tool tips of 0, 45 and 90 degrees that help to reach basically every mounting position. The pliers allow for easy attachment and removal and they are available from now on.

Rc Arlos Factory RcA-V1 RWD drift car chassis

Rc Arlos Factory have released first images of their forthcoming new RcA-V1 RWD drift car chassis kit. The first chassis project of the company will feature a highly adjustable suspension components, a rear motor design placed in front of the rear axle as well as mock-up brace callipers and rotors for scale looks. The car will allow for 240mm, 257mm and 275mm wheelbase settings and we bring you more details as they become available.

ARC R12 titanium upper deck screws

Coming soon from ARC are new titanium upper deck screws for the R12 touring car. Machined from high-quality titanium the screws are lighter than steel bolts and thus help to lower the overall centre of gravity while adding visual impact at the same time. The shouldered screws come in sets of three and are a direct fit.

Will Skidmore sweeps NWN Summer Series Rd1

Round 1 of the NWN Summer Series was held this past weekend. Will Skidmore was pretty much in control of things in the Nitro Buggy class as winning four of the five qualifying rounds secured him the pole position for the 22-minute main final. The A-main then also went well for will who would lead from start to finish to take the win from Joni Skidmore in 2nd, a lap behind. Jack Hirst came in 3rd overall, finishing on the same lap as Joni.

Bloomfield wins Brookthorpe Dirt Track opening race

The Brookthorpe Model Car Club in the UK held their Dirt Track opening race this past weekend, attracting nearly 80 entries including former EFRA European Champion, Darren Bloomfield who made an appearance for Team Associated following a time-off from RC for a couple of years. Darren would sweep the competition by winning three of the four qualifiers for the overall TQ from Mike Lewis in 2nd and Matt Lewis in 3rd. In the single 15-minute A-main it was again Darren who would excel by taking the win some 30 seconds in front of Team Associated’s Mike Lewis in 2nd and Tekno RC’s Mitch Booth in 3rd, the latter finished already a lap down on Darren.

PR Racing SB401R aluminium steering knuckles

Coming from PR Racing and made for the SB401R series of 4WD vehicles are new aluminium steering knuckles and matching carbon fibre Ackermann plates. The steering knuckles are machined from high-quality aluminium and they sport a black anodised surface for protection and machined silver edge details for looks. The hubs will greatly improve overall stability and precision with the carbon fibre Ackermann arms allowing for precise steering Ackermann geometry adjustment and thus better control over the steering characteristics of the car.

Czech 1/8th Off-road Nationals Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the Czech 1/8th Off-road Nationals were held at the Kolin club this past weekend. The event kicked off with free practice on Friday with Saturday’s Nitro Buggy qualifying being won by Martin Bayer from Max Götzl in 2nd and Jiri Mara in 3rd. In E-Buggy Max made a clean sweep to take all four qualifiers from Ales Bidovsky and Jiri Benes. In the Nitro Buggy semifinals Martin Bayer posted the quickest time to grab the pole position from Max Götzl and Jiri Mara. The top 3 then had a little mix-up in the first lap after all made a little mistake, but later Martin was able to pull away and take the lead. Ultimately he crossed the finish line on the 1st place from Max 2nd and Jiri 3rd.
