Coming soon from Kyosho is the Fazer VE Ferrari FXX ReadySet 4WD touring car. Based on the entry-level shaft-driven Fazer chassis the kit offers a slim composite tub main frame, a sealed drivetrain with gear differentials, single-structure lower suspension arms and a sealed receiver box. Other features include aluminium shock absorbers, fixed suspension links and the car comes factory assembled and equipped with a waterproof Team Orion R10 One brushless speed controller, Neon One 2400kv motor, waterproof steering servo and a 2.4GHz FHSS radio system. The second new part is the 2.5° rear hinge pink block that again is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes black anodised. The suspension mount features 0.5° less toe compared to the kit 3° block for added straight line speed and a more agile handling on high bite tracks. Oli Meggitt and the Essex Winter Series (EWS) Organising Team are proud to announce that the series will be returning for its third season later this year. The EWS is one of the largest and most popular Touring Car championships in the UK and last year was fully booked for every round of the series. Building on that success, the organisers have opted to change little of their proven format. Runner-up Michael Prott proved that smooth driving is the key to success, when Philipp Müther made a fatal mistake in the final lap while in the lead. Still, he managed to cling to the podium. Many more thrilling duels ensued during the weekend, and in the Fun/Hobby several more or less young fast guys proved that 17.5 motors are not that slow, with lap times identical to the midranking modified drivers. …in which Nick Roccas took the overall win from David Fraser and Alex Keith. Joe Herring from the Carlisle club took 4th place which was a great result for someone who just started racing in the last few weeks. Secondly, is a stock mini class running a standard Muchmore Clubman motor in which Keith Anderton took the overall win from Chris Briggs both running the T.O.P. Sabre FWD Mini.
