Mon-Tech Racing 190mm Pick-Up body shell

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have unveiled their all-new Pick-Up body shell for 190mm wide 1/10th scale touring cars. The lid’s design is inspired by 1950’s hot rod pick-ups and although it was developed basically for bashing, it still offers a good overall balance thanks to the add-on rear wing that also makes for race-inspired looks. Beside the 190mm touring car variant Mon-Tech will also offer a 210mm wheelbase M-chassis and a crawler trail truck body in the foreseeable future.

WRC Racing NTX.3 3mm aluminium chassis

Coming from WRC Racing and made for the NTX.3 1/10th scale 200mm nitro on-road kit is a 3mm aluminium main chassis. The part is machined from high-quality Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes clear anodised for surface protection. Using the chassis will increase steering, traction and stability in high-bite track conditions.

Contact RC Formula foam tyres

Schumacher have introduced the new Contact RC foam tyres for 1/10th scale Formula cars. The tyres will greatly improve the grip and drivability compared to rubber tyres and they work well on both carpet and asphalt tracks. The 63mm diameter tyres come on grey spoke wheels and are available in two compounds for the front and two compounds for rear in order to help tune the car for many track conditions.

Pilot RC Products DR10 ceramic hybrid bearing set

Pilot RC Products have announced the release of their race-proven Pilot Orbit Ceramic Hybrid bearing set for the Team Associated DR10. The bearings are precision crafted and produced from highest grade materials governing them the ABEC rating grade 7. Grade 7 rated bearings provide a higher tolerance and a deviation of 5 μm, allowing for better performance at high RPM. The bearings come pre-oiled with 1up Clear bearing oil for ultra free bearings and increased drivetrain efficiency.

MST tease new LP56 drift car body shell

MST have released first teaser images of their forthcoming new LP56 body shell. Designed for 195mm wide 257mm wheelbase 1/10th scale on-road chassis, the body should tick the boxes of drift car fans but it may be also find its way into fun or outlaw GT racing. MST targets a release in the fourth quarter of 2020 and we bring you more details as they surface.

Schumacher Cougar Laydown/KD titanium layshaft

Schumacher have announced the release of their new lightweight titanium transmission layshaft for the Cougar Laydown and KD kits. The standard layshaft weighs in at 13g while the titanium variant comes in at just 7.5g, saving 5.5g. It is not only the overall weight saving but more importantly the rotating mass is significantly reduced, meaning faster spool up time and acceleration. The shaft comes titanium-nitride-coated for a long life and it is aimed at racing which requires a slipper clutch, making it an ideal upgrade for astro turf and mod dirt drivers.

T-Works A800FX titanium ball studs & screw sets

Coming from T-Works and made for the Awesomatix A800FX front-wheel drive touring car are a titanium ball stud set as well as three new screw kits. The ball stud set includes 25 high-quality ball studs machined from 64 grade titanium for a low weight and exceptional stability. The balls come polished for smooth suspension action and improved looks and using them not only scrubs weight but also adds corrosion resistance when running in wet track conditions. Also Available are a 77-piece mixed titanium and black anodised aluminium screw kit, a 97-piece all-titanium screw set as well as a 97-piece gold-colour steel screw kit. Both the mixed and full titanium set include UFO head screws for cool looks and they help to reduce the overall weight of the car while the gold-colour steel screws mainly add bling.

GForce Burst Sonic 540-class brushless motor

GForce have introduced their new Burst Sonic 540-class electric brushless modified and stock motors. They build around a minimalistic machined aluminium can with an exposed and specially coated stator for improved cooling in high ambient temperatures while the internal design makes for greatly increased overall torque which is further helped by the use of 13mm rotors. The motor also features adjustable timing, dual sensor ports for easier and tidier wire routing, heavy-duty gold-plated solder tabs as well as laser-engraved graphics. The modified range includes 5.5T to 8.5T variants while the stock motors come as 10.5T to 21.5T variants all of which utilise 7.2mm inner diameter rotors for sharper response to throttle input.
