Pelle Culmsee doubles at Danish 1/8th off-road opener

The opening round of the Danish 1/8th off-road nationals was hosted by the Skanderborg RC club this past weekend. SWorkz driver, Pelle Culmsee (SWorkz/Picco/T-Pro) was the man to beat in both the nitro and electric classes as he walked away with the TQ and win in Nitro Buggy from 2. Daniel Bubel (Xray/FX/AKA) in 2nd and Magnus Frandsen (JQRacing/Alpha/6Mik) in 3rd.

Tekin G4 Eliminator drag racing brushless motor

Tekin have introduced their all-new G4 Eliminator drag racing electric brushless motor. Utilising oversized ultra torque rotors and the best materials available, Tekin designed the Eliminator to cut weight while reducing resistance, resulting in a purebred drag racing machine. From Pro Mod to Street Eliminator classes, the Eliminator motors create huge power across all RPMs whenever needed. The Gen4 motor line is a completely new ground-up design. The new stator is precision stamped and pressed, increasing efficiency and reducing resistance and the motors are hand-wound with high purity copper wire and machined from 6061-T6 aluminium. Mon-Tech tease Pick-Up body shell

Following a first teaser image, Mon-Tech Racing have revealed more detailed images of what appears to be their forthcoming new Pick-Up body shell. The lid seems to fit 190mm electric touring car kits, it is of a cool modded hot rod design and more details are expected to surface shortly.

Adam Drake wins Open Truggy at JBRL Nitro Series Rd3

Last weekend’s round 3 of the 2020 JBRL Nitro Series held at Empire R/C Raceway in Brentwood, California saw Mugen’s Adam Drake walk away with the win in the Open Nitro Truggy class. The TQ spot was taken by SWorkz’s Ryan Cavalieri, however the former IFMAR World Champion and Expert Nitro Buggy A-main winner wasn’t able to fend off Adam in the 15-minute A-main event with Drake eventually taking the win some 0.9 seconds ahead of Ryan as Xray’s Jaden Tiu completed the top 3 results.

MR33 introduce new tool range

Arrowmax touring car alloy honeycomb chassis sets

Coming soon from Arrowmax are new honeycomb aluminium chassis sets for the Xray T4 2020, Serpent X20, and Yokomo BD10 touring cars. Included with the main plates come carbon fibre battery mounts, for both standard and slim-style batteries, as well as hexagonal brass weights that can be inserted in the honeycomb cutouts which allows not only to up overall weight but the weights also help to fine-tune left-right and front-back weight balance when running lightweight batteries and/or electronics.

Cole Ogden TQs & wins at G Force Series Rd4

Round 4 of the G Force Series was held at the Augusta RC Supercross track with more than 100 entries for nitro and electric 1/8th scale off-road classes. Expert Nitro Buggy saw HB Racing’s Cole Ogden taking the overall TQ and also the win in the 25-minute A-main event, leaving behind Reggie Tongue (Mugen) in 2nd, some two laps down. Jason Booko (Mugen) came in 3rd, another lap down as Patrick Rossiter and David Olsen completed the top 5 results.

Central and South European Koswork distributor Ruddog has introduced the Travel Sports trolley bag. Large enough to store all sorts of equipment for weekly racing or travelling uproad, the bag measures 86x35x39cm with the inner size being 76x24x36cm. The large upper lid ensure easy loading of the bag with two attachable inner dividers making for convenient customising of the space available.
