MR33 Awesomatix multi tool

Available now is MR33’s new Awesomatix multi tool that allows for convenient building, setup and maintenance of the A800’s diff, driveshafts and dampers. The two-piece aluminium tool can be used to open and close the gear differential, taking the double joint drive shafts apart, and it has a clever depth probe to properly adjust the P63 piston inside the AT41-2 damper vane. Owners can also open and close the standard AT-40-1 damper caps with the tool in a very comfortable way. The tool is made of aluminium, it comes black anodised and with machined silver edge details and white laser-engraved logos.

Infinity M3x8mm flanged red aluminium screw

Creation Model have introduced a red anodised M3x8mm flanged aluminium screw that can be used for a variety of applications. The fastener is perfect to holding the shock mount bushings on the shock tower of the Infinity IF14-2 and they can also be used to attach wings on 1/10th scale body shells. The button head screw is made of high-quality aluminium, it comes red anodised and in sets of four.

Hot Race Tyres Bangkok V2 1/8th buggy tyre

Coming from Hot Race is their new Bangkok V2 tyre for 1/8th buggies. The V2 features a mini pin design with an inner mesh making for lower and more even tyre wear that allows for greater overall durability in long mains. The tyre fits all standard 1/8th scale buggy wheels and it will become available in supersoft, soft, medium, and hard compounds from mid-July.

Tamiya TT-02 Audi V8 Touring – Coming soon

Tamiya have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new TT-02 1991 Audi V8 Touring 4WD touring car kit. The iconic Audi V8 Touring body shell features the company’s signature motorsports colours and it tops off the ultra-popular TT-02 entry-level 4WD chassis. Replica BBS wheels and add-on details like rear view mirrors round out the kit. Full details and more images will become available in time of the release that is scheduled for later this year.

Axial SCX10 III Jeep JLU Wrangler RTR

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new Axial SCX10 III Jeep JLU Wrangler RTR portal axle trail truck. While continuing to incorporate key components that have made SCX10 vehicles successful, the SCX10 III increases chassis realism with details that include a replica V8 engine to house the installed brushed motor. It is mated to a realistic transmission housing and transfer case, like a full-scale vehicle. The RTR also comes complete with the Spektrum DX3 3-channel 2.4GHz DSMR transmitter and Firma 40A ESC/receiver.

VP-Pro 4-shoe clutch tool

VP-Pro have released their new clutch tool that was designed for the use with the company’s RS-620 4-shoe clutch. Machined from aluminium and coming black anodised the tool allows for easy assembly and disassembly of the adjustable clutch and it is available from now on.

Vanderbeek sweeps Team Associated Summer Series Rd1

The opening round of the Team Associated Summer Series was held at the Hobbyplex facility in Omaha, Nebraska last weekend, attracting over 170 entries. In the premier class of 2WD Modified Buggy it was Tom Rinderknecht with the overall TQ, however after the single 8-minute A-main event it was Alex Vanderbeek (Team Associated) with the win some 1.7 seconds in front of Charlie Maiorana (TLR). Mason Fuller (TLR) came in 3rd, another 5.3 seconds back as Tom Rinderknecht had to settle for 4th overall. 4WD Modified Buggy again saw Tom taking the TQ honours and again it was Alex Vanderbeek with the overall win as Mason Fuller and Tom Rinderknecht (TLR) rounded out the top 3 result a couple of seconds back.
