Bittydesign Vision XB8E 2020 body shell

Following last week’s introduction of the Vision body shell for the Xray XB8 2020 nitro buggy, Bittydesign from Italy now also present a dedicated variant for the XB8E 2020 E-Buggy. Sporting the same sleek and futuristic design, the body will support the buggy’s performance by offering improved aerodynamics, stability and a cool new look. Precision pre-cut to make for swift and easy preparation of a new body, the lid come clear and it includes window masks and a decal sheet.

Graham Hill wins at Border Wars Series Rd2

The second round of the Border Wars R/C Racing Series was hosted by the A-Main Speedway at RAM Off-Road Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado last weekend. The race attracted over 130 entries and in Expert Nitro Buggy it was 11th place qualifier, Graham Hill (Mugen) with the win in the 30-minute A-main event, leaving behind Sean Trainer (TLR) in 2nd, a lap down. Shelby Parker (JQRacing) came in 3rd overall while Bret Pousson and Thomas Michaels completed the top 5 results.

Infinity IF14-2 graphite front body post support

Coming from Creation Model and made for the Infinity IF-14-2 touring car is a new graphite front body post support. The bumper brace improves the rigidity of the bumper and body post assembly, increasing stability of the front section at high speeds. Made from lightweight and highly rigid carbon fibre, the brace’s surface is also specially embossed to achieve a stylish loog which includes the Infinity logo.

Aaron Kothman sweeps BBQ Blast 2020

RC Madness of Enfield, Connecticut hosted the BBQ Blast race last weekend. In the premier class of 1/8th Nitro Buggy it was Aaron Kothman with the overall TQ and he would also bring home the win in the 20-minute A-final, leaving behind Jay Bless in 2nd, already a lap down. Kyle Baker came in 3rd overall, another 3 laps down. Over in 1/8th Nitro Truggy it was again Aaron with the TQ and win as Charlie McNeill and John Goode ended the day in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Danish DASU IC Track Nationals Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the Danish DASU IC Track Nationals was hosted by the Hillerod RC Racing club last weekend in 1/8th Nitro, 1/10th Nitro, 1/8th GTe and 1/5th scale classes. 1/8th IC Track would see Anders Lind (Xray) taking the overall TQ and he also came out on top after the 30-minute A-main event, leaving behind Marcus Christian Nordberg in 2nd and Morten Skov Nielsen (Xray) in 3rd.

Pancar-B 8cbe 1/8th 4WD electric stock pan car

Pancar-B from Italy have released first images of their forthcoming all-new 8cbe 1/8th scale 4WD electric stock pan car kit. The car utilises a simple, lightweight, no-fuzz design that allows to go fast on the track without breaking the bank. The car was developed for the use with standard 1/8th scale electric brushless motors and speed controllers as well as two 2S standard-size LiPo battery packs. The newly-founded brand is currently also working on a GT12 1/12th scale kit and we bring you more information on both as they surface.

Kevin Siller TQs & wins at Battling Giants race

Spirit Controlled RC Racing in Girard, Pennsylvania hosted the Battling Giants race last weekend in several nitro and electric off-road classes. In 1/8th E-Truggy it was Kevin Siller with the overall TQ from Zac Cooper in 2nd. The single 8-minute A-main event then saw Kevin leading from tone to tone to take the win eleven seconds in front of 4th place qualifier, Jake Blood. Zac Cooper came in 3rd overall, another 4.8 seconds back.

ARC R12 17mm bulkhead alignment block

ARC have introduced their new 17mm bulkhead alignment block for the use with the R12 touring car. The block will help to build perfectly straight front and rear bulkhead assemblies which will eliminate unwanted drivetrain friction as it ensures perfectly aligned axles and bearings while reducing chassis tweak at the same time. The block is machined from aluminium, it comes black anodised and included in the set are two steel pins that hold the bulkhead halves in place during building.
