Rêve D YD-2 HG front suspension conversion

Coming from Rêve D and made for Yokomo’s YD-2 RWD drift car is the HG front suspension conversion kit. Designed for all cars using a sliding steering rack, the upper arm conversion kit features ball-raced aluminium upper arms, cantilever-type upper arm pins for quick and easy roll centre changes, as well as an updated front shock tower made of lightweight yet extremely rigid dry carbon fibre material. The whole construction is of a very low weight, shifting the weight bias towards the rear for improved traction and optimised balance. The set includes the ball-raced upper arms, an aluminium upper arm mount, dry carbon front shock tower, highly rigid suspension pins as well as mounting hardware.

Xtra Speed SCX24 aluminium front bumper

Xtra Speed have introduced their new aluminium front bumper for the Axial SCX24 mini-size trail truck. The bumper mounts to the front of the chassis, offering more overall protection including the body shell. The part comes black coated for surface protection and looks and it is a direct fit.

Roche Rapide F1 Evo2 narrow lower front arms

Roche have announced the release of new narrow lower front arms for the Rapide F1 Evo2 formula car. Crud from high-quality 2.5mm carbon fibre the arms decrease the front track width by 4mm and they are recommended when running wide front tyres such as ones from Ride and Hudy. The set includes the lower arms as well as the upper camber plate.

Spencer Klein TQs & wins at Shaw’s R/C Shop club race

Shaw’s R/C Shop of Ardmore, Oklahoma held a pretty well attended club race last weekend, that attracted a total of 95 entries. In 1/8th Sportsman E-Buggy it was Mugen’s Spencer Klein with the overall TQ and he also came out swinging in the single 10-minute A-main event, leaving behind 6th place qualifier, Trevor Naul (Team Associated) in 2nd already a lap down. 7th place qualifier, Randy Lathorp (Team Associated) came in 3rd while Mark Santamaria (Tekno RC) and Isaak Hamby (TLR) completed the top 5 result.

T-Works TLR 22X-4 carbon electronics mounting plate

T-Works have introduced their new carbon fibre electronics mounting plate for the TLR 22X-4 buggy. Machined from high-quality material the plate attaches to the buggy’s aluminium chassis using two screws, a pair of shims and low-profile nuts, allowing for more secure mounting and also easier removal – for cleaning to maintenance purposes – of the speed controller and its capacitor.

Desiles Aero V8.2 servo saver lock

Coming from Desiles Aero is their new servo saver lock for the Shepherd V8.2 kit. The tool allows to lock the servo saver in neutral position without having to switch the transmitter and receiver on, allowing for exact and symmetrical toe adjustments every time by simply placing it on the radio plate above the servo saver.

Exotek TLR 22 Ti rear axles & CF body mount plates

Exotek have announced the release of new titanium rear CVA axles for the TLR 22 buggies as well as carbon fibre body mount plates for the TLR 22, Kyosho RB7, Team Associated B6 and Xray XB2 buggies. Starting with the titanium rear axles, the parts are of super light weight and usable with all 1.0 to 5.0 buggies, however they do not fit the 5.0 Elite VHA axles and hubs. The axle shafts reduce the weight and rotating mass of the driveline for quicker acceleration and they are recommended for drag racing only.
