T-Works roll out first S35-4 optionals

T-Works have announced the release of first optional parts for the new SWorkz S35-4 nitro and electric buggy kits. The range includes titanium turnbuckles, ball bearing sets, as well as titanium and gold-colour steel screw sets specific to each vehicle. The titanium parts will lower the overall weight of the vehicles, they improve corrosion resistance and add visual impact while the gold-colour steel screws are less prone to oxidate in wet environments. As for the bearing sets, they include ball races with both rubber and steel seals, thus ensuring exceptional resistance against dust, dirt and moisture while allowing for good drivetrain efficiency.

Kyosho 1/12th scale Trail King ReadySet

The newest edition to Kyosho’s 1/12th scale electric track vehicle series is the Trail King. Kyosho’s long selling Blizzard kit, that has stood the test of time with a legion of loyal fans, has been used as a base for the new Trail King. Among its many features, a completely new body design creates the retro feel of a hard working machine. In addition to the realistic finish with separate accessory parts, the underbody incorporates a cockpit and always-on front and rear LED lights. A loading platform also provides space for a variety of things to be carried. The vehicle enhances the enjoyment of nostalgic wilderness experiences across a wide variety of scenes with a chassis boasting heavy-duty specifications for smooth and easy travel across any surface including uneven rocky roads and steep gradients. As the model is fully pre-assembled, the advanced mechanics of the Trail King are ready to be enjoyed straight away. Compatibility with spare and optional parts for the Kyosho Blizzard allows to expand the enjoyment of the snow and sand adventures even further. Included with the track vehicle, that will become available in two colour variants, comes a stick radio system, NiMH battery, charger and accessories.

JConcepts RM2 black flywheel wrench

Coming from JConcepts is the black RM2 flywheel wrench. With the popularity of the 4-shoe clutch design, it is now more necessary than ever to have a wrench handy to assemble things correctly. Ryan Maifield, combined with the designers at JConcepts, have developed a simple and handy tool for the nitro racers toolbox. The all-aluminium, CNC-machined part is precision manufactured to close tolerances to ensure a tight and clean fit for a variety of 4-shoe clutches on the market. During a routine event, it is common for racers such as Ryan to disassemble and assemble the clutch several times during a weekend for proper maintenance or tuning needs. For consistency and longevity, its best to use a tool which provides the same touch and feel each time during tear downs and build-ups. Proper care, and a schedule which can be repeated, always lead to better finishing results. The RM2 flywheel wrench enables the racer to check another easy to use, assembly and maintenance tool off the list.

RC Carbon Cavalieri carbon front scoops

RC Carbon Cavalieri from Germany have introduced their updated carbon fibre front scoops, wings that were designed to attach to the front gearboxes of many of today‘s 1/8th off-road buggies. The updated variants come pre-cut and painted with a heavy duty glossy varnish, ensuring better fitting and improved durability. The scoops include a mounting screw and a bit for drilling the required mounting hole and they are available in a Mod.1 variant for Team Associated, Hobao, Mugen, Serpent, and SWorkz buggies and also in a Mod.2 variant for Agama, HB Racing, JQRacing, TLR, and Xray kits.

TMG Speed B6.2 carbon quick release battery clamps

Available now from TMG Speed is a set of carbon fibre quick release battery clamps for the Team Associated B6.2 buggy. The kit includes machined battery clamps whose design allows to shift the shorty battery pack forth a back by a couple of millimetres in order to adjust overall weight balance while the supplied rubber O-rings make for quick battery swaps alll while allowing for a certain movement of the battery during cornering, allowing more natural chassis flex for increased traction.

BMT 016GT & 801GT Pro -0.5mm wheel hubs

Coming from BMT and made for their 016GT and 801GT Pro 1/8th on-road kits are new -0.5mm wheel hubs. Narrower than the standard parts the hubs will reduce overall width which will allow for additional adjustment possibilities if track conditions are calling for it. The hubs feature a 1mm pitch tread meaning they have to be used with their dedicated wheel nuts.

MR33 circle on-road droop gauge 2.0

Tonisport have introduced their new circle droop gauge 2.0 for 1/10th on-road applications. The tool consists of the actual droop gauge that offers a 4.0mm to 6.6mm droop range while two rounded 10mm droop blocks are housed in the tool body, allowing to having them at hand at any time. The blocks can be separated from the gauge to rest the chassis on them during droop measurement and the integrated magnets ensure they stay inside the gauge’s body during transportation and storage. The whole assembly is machined from aluminium, it comes black anodised, with machined silver edge details and laser-engraved markings.

Yeah Racing SCX10 & TRX-4/6 brass optionals

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Axial SCX10-III and II as well as the Traxxas TRX-4 and TRX-6 trucks are several new brass option parts. First up is a 4-piece set of brass spring retainers for the SCX10-III and SCX10-II trucks. The parts add weight near the wheel area, improving climbing performance while also ensuring an improved spring seat. Brass spring retainers are also available in 4-piece sets for the Traxxas TRX-4 and as 6-piece sets for the TRX-6 six-wheeler truck. Last but not least is a 6-peice set of 12x8mm brass wheel hex adapters for the TRX-6 that add weight directly at the wheels, improving traction and forward momentum when on throttle. All brass parts come in a natural shiny finish for cool looks.
