…a good qualifying effort. When the main came around, Jeff showed that he was the fastest driver and moved into the lead and never looked back and took a commanding win. Carl Lebo and Kawri Brown both finished the 20 minutes main fighting for 2nd with Carl edging out Kawri for 2nd place inter-team bragging rights. The engine bay is empty, waiting to finish the build, and the sticker sheet represents that with exposed shock mounts, cross member and brake line detail. The front grill area is sunk in allowing for a highly detailed 3D printed front grill and the sticker sheet represents the exposed radiator detail just like the real thing. Last weekend saw round three of the ever growing Essex Carpet Clash series take place in the south of England. Having had a successful pervious two rounds, entries were in for another round, with further improvements for the day ahead. Many returning and new drivers for this series turned up in the morning to a fully laid track featuring more and new jumps to test the skill level of any driver. The second round of the Xray Racing Series Greece was held at the Fanatix Racing Track in Athens. Cold but sunny weather made for a great atmosphere and in Touring Modified it was front-runner Dimitris Ioannidis who showed up late due to having to write a chemistry test, however he once again took the top position overall to take the day’s win from Nick Nikolakopoulos and a surprisingly improved Chris Kidis who rounded out an all-Xray podium. Coming from Xpress is a lightweight motor fan mount for the XQ1 and XM1 series of cars. The CNC-machined and black anodised alloy mount screws directly into the existing rear lead weight mounting hole, sitting just behind the motor. The design prevents the fan unit from rotating on the mount while keeping the natural chassis flex intact and it is usable with the XQ1, XQ1S, XM1 and XM1S kits.
