Rusti Design XX4 carbon fibre shock tower stiffener

Rusti Design have introduced their new carbon fibre shock tower stiffeners for the popular Team Losi XX4 vintage 4WD buggy. Designed by Olivier Langlet the 2mm stiffener plates will reinforce the stock moulded composite shock stays resulting in less breaking issues. The stiffeners are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and available from now on.

Arena T4’20 carbon fibre upper deck shim set

Coming from Arena is a new 1mm carbon fibre upper deck shim set for the Xray T4 2020 touring car. The shims are designed to be inserted between the bulkheads and the upper deck, effectively raising the top deck for increased torsional flex and thus optimised flex characteristics which comes in handy in a variety of track conditions. The shims are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and the set includes a total of four.

Yeah Racing SCX10 III HD steel driveshafts

Yeah Racing have introduced new HD steel driveshafts for the Axial SCX10 III trail truck. Available are a universal front driveshaft set as well as a 2-piece set of rear axle shafts. All are made of high-quality steel material for exceptional durability while the black surface coating further improves durability and corrosion resistance. Using the shafts will allow for improved power supply with heavy rigs and in challenging trail conditions.

Juan Carlos Canas triples at Cadiz regional champs

The opening round of the Cadiz regional championship was held at the Circuito de El Estrecho track in Spain last weekend. The event saw the running of 1/8th E-Buggy as well as 1/10th 2WD and 4WD classes and in E-Buggy it was Juan Carlos Canas with the overall TQ and also the win after the triple A-mains, leaving behind Adrian Macias in 2nd and Albert Pelaez in 3rd.

Cristiano Sartor wins at Pista Verde race

The Pista Verde track in Fener, Italy held a friendship race last weekend, the first event following the Corona virus shutdown in Italy. In the 1/8th On-road class it was Cristiano Sartor (ARC/Matrix/Extreme Energy/Hasi) with the win from Marco Bianchi (ARC/Matrix/Extreme Energy/XRD) in 2nd. Claudio Codazzi (ARC/Hot Race/Extreme Energy/Hasi) rounded out the top 3 podium result.

Ron Devoll doubles at JBRL Electric Series Rd4

Round 4 of the JBRL Electric Series was hosted by the OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, California last weekend. While Jake Thayer and Matt Gonzales took home wins in the Expert 13.5T 4WD and Expert 17.5T 2WD classes, it was Team Associated’s Ron Devoll who excelled in 2WD and 4WD Open Buggy. In 2WD Open it was Team Associated’s Davey Batta on the runner-up spot with Xray’s Jake Mayo rounding out the top 3 podium result. Over in 4WD Open Buggy, Tekno RC’s Carlos Arredondo took home a 2nd place finish behind Ron as Brandon Larrowe rounded out the podium for TLR.

Yokomo SP-02DV2 programmable RWD drift car servo

Coming soon from Yokomo is their new SP-02DV2 programmable servo for RWD drift cars. An updated firmware allows for better adaption to the needs of rear-wheel driven cars with a new function to suppress hunting, a malfunction that can occur in combination with steering gyro units. Also included is a wider support for the different settings both entry and pro level drivers need. As for the hardware side of things, the servo utilises a heatsink aluminium middle case, a coreless servo and a mixed titanium and aluminium geardtrain. The servo is programmable using Yokomo’s optional SP-03DPC programming device and it will hit stores soon.
