MonacoRC V2 USB adaptor

MonacoRC have introduced an updated version of their USB-to-RC-receiver adaptor with the V2 offering ultra fast FTP. The adaptor connects a model car radio system to a MS Windows-based PC, allowing to use RC car simulators such as VRC Pro with your own radio gear. Due to the design the device does not need any drivers, making it a plug & play. It works with every transmitter and receiver and simulates the ESC and steering servo. It also supports all the functions of the transmitter such as servo speed, curve and more. All that is needed to get it running is a free USB port on the computer, a MS Windows-based PC or an Apple Mac running Parallel or BootCamp and Windows. The adaptor is available with a blue or red case from now on.

ZooRacing 3-piece 190mm touring car wing set

Available now from ZooRacing is their new 3-piece wing set that includes three different design wings to fine-tune the aerodynamics of most of today’s 1/10th scale 190mm touring car bodies. Included are the wing of the ultra-popular DBX/PreoPard/ZooZilla series, the highly-curved HellCat rear wing as well as the new BayBee rear wing, all moulded from high-quality polycarbonate. Also included are a total of six polycarbonate endplates. Using the set comes in handy especially when running ZooRacing’s ultra lightweight 0.5mm bodies that greatly profit from the tougher and less flexible rear wings as they improve overall downforce without adding too much weight. In addition the different shapes of the wings allow to fine-tune the aerodynamic balance if conditions call for it. The wing set is usable with all 190mm touring cars that use a 100mm wing post spacing, they come un-cut and are supplied in clear high-quality polycarbonate material.

Yokomo YZ-4SF2 1/10th 4WD buggy kit

Yokomo have officially unveiled their new YZ-4SF2 1/10th scale 4WD buggy kit. The latest incarnation of the IFMAR World Championship winning YZ-4 platform utilises about 80 percent of new or redesigned parts with the bulkheads, motor mount, and slipper clutch being significantly lighter for improved overall performance. Also included is a new steering system that features an updated Ackermann geometry that is of a milder setting to compensate the improved overall agility due to the lower car weight, which comes in handy especially on high-bite surfaces for smoother, more predicable car control. New to the SF2 are also updated front and rear lower arms that now feature 3.5mm inner and 3.0mm outer suspension pins for durability. The arms are of a reinforced design for improved durability and new lower shock mount inserts enable the driver to access more complex setups. As for the slipper clutch, the new design is a lot smaller for a lower weight and quicker spool up, ensuring crisp throttle response. The included battery mount allows to shift the battery pack forth and back to adjust the overall weight balance while the new gearboxes allow for diff height adjustments to better adapt the buggy to different traction conditions while new cam-type inner upper camber link mounts allow for quick setup changes. The kit comes including dirt and carpet specific springs and anti-roll bars and it will hit stores soon.
