Xray will hold their 2018 Xmas Race at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin, Slovakia on the 29th of December, allowing racers to try and test their new toys in various on-road and off-road classes. The event is run using the same rule set as the XRS Slovakia, however the friendship race does not count as a round of the series, allowing drivers to just go and have as much fun as possible. …touring car are 3mm carbon fibre shock towers and a carbon fibre centre link. Starting with the shock stays, the parts are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and at 3mm they are 1mm thinner than the original parts, providing increased steering and rear traction in lower grip track conditions. The shock towers are available as separate front and rear variants. Also new is a carbon fibre centre link to connect the floating servo mount and motor mount. Shepherd have announced the signing of top international nitro on-road racer Toni Gruber to their 2019 factory team line-up. The 22-year old German already looks back on a successful career with a European championship title, multiple national titles as well as multiple Euro Nitro Series podium finishes under his belt. Starting 2019 Toni will use the Velox V8 and the Velox V10 platforms at all major national and international events including the EFRA GP series, the ENS series, Euros, Worlds and other selected events.
