Lunsford Racing 5.5mm titanium riser ball studs

Lunsford Racing have introduced their new 5.5mm titanium riser ball studs. Machined from American-made and certified Grade 5 titanium the ball studs are available as +2mm, +3mm and +4mm rise variants, doing away with the fiddly need to use ball stud shims in order to adjust camber link height. The ball studs fit a multitude of cars and they are available from now on.

Kyosho MP10 & MP9 12T/18T steel diff gear sets

Announced just recently by Kyosho’s own Yuichi Kanai and being available shortly are two new 12T/18T differential bevel gear sets for the Inferno MP10 and MP9 series 1/8th scale vehicles. Coming as separate sets for the front/rear and centre diffs, the kits allow to change the differential’s internal gearing from 10T/20T to 12T/18T which has an effect on the differential action, improving the vehicle’s stability over rough or bumpy parts of the track. Included in the sets are precision-made steel gears, steel cross pins as well as shims and drive pins.

T-Works MIP hex wrench collar set

T-Works have introduced their new aluminium identification collar set for the popular MIP hex wrenches. The set includes four colour-coded collars with laser-etched size markings that slide over the tool tip of the hex wrenches and help to easily identify the hex’s sizes. Included with the set comes an Allen key and four grub screws for easy mounting of the collars.

Racing Performer M4/M3 motor spacer set

Coming from Yokomo and made for the Racing Performer M4 and M3 brushless motors is a new motor spacer set. It includes new stainless steel spacers that will wear less over time, especially when used in modified motors, where the previous set could lead to increased ball bearing wear and thus quicker wear. The set includes three spacers and it is available from now on.

RC Discharger 6S 40A resistor bank

RC Discharger have introduced their new 6S 40 resistor bank for the use with the popular iCharger Duo device. The resistor bank allows to discharge 1S to 6S LiPo batteries at a constant 40A rate with an enclosed box ensuring the externals do not get hot which adds a lot of safety and convenience. The neat and clean design also acts as a stand for both the charger and a server-type power supply, ensuring minimal pit space is taken while short wires make for a neat and professional appearance. Like all RC Discharger devices the resistor bank is a plug and play, it comes without the charger and power supply and it is available from now on.

Matthew Gonzales wins at Supercross Series Rd4

Round 4 of the Supercross Series was held at SDRC Raceway in San Diego, California last weekend, drawing nearly 90 entries. The 2WD Mod Buggy class saw Yokomo driver, Matthew Gonzales taking the overall TQ and also the single 5-minute A-main was pretty much smooth sailing for him as he brought home the win with a lap margin on 4th place qualifier, Kevin King (Team Associated) as Eli Westrup (TLR) came in 3rd another lap down.

Reds Racing tease new brushless motor

Reds Racing from Italy have released a first image of their forthcoming new 1/8th scale electric brushless motor. The V8 Gen3 features a redesigned can with machined cooling openings for lower operation temperatures and new red anodised front and back plates. Full details are expected to surface shortly.
