MR33 A800FX 1-piece carbon fibre top deck

Coming from MR33 and made by Raceberry is a 1-piece carbon fibre top deck for the Awesomatix A800FX FWD touring car. The upper deck is of an asymmetrical 1-piece design, making for different torsional flex characteristics compared to the original 2-piece assembly while an additional brace in front of the rear bulkhead stiffens the rear area which can be helpful in higher grip conditions. The top deck is available from now on.

Torpine 1/10th on-road brass screw kits

Coming from Torpine are their new brass screw kits for a range of current on-road touring and FWD cars. The fasteners, intended for the use in the lower areas of the chassis, are precision made from high-quality brass material and due to being heavier than standard steel screws, they help to lower the overall centre of gravity of a car while adding a certain weight. Available are a 52-piece kit for the Xray T4’20, a 39-piece kit for the Xray X1’20, a 59-piece kit for the Awesomatix A800MMX, a 54-piece kit for the Awesomatix A800FX, a 51-piece kit for the Serpent SF4 and a 44-piece kit for the ARC R11F. Also available are 8-piece sets of M3x5mm, M3x10mm and M3x12mm countersunk head screws.

Nicolas Bregante sweeps Uruguayan Buggy Champs Rd1

The opening round of the Uruguayan Off-road Championship was held at the fast and super technical San Jose de Mayo track recently. Due to the track being new it changed it nature throughout the day permanently and in the end it was Xray’s Nicolas Bregante who made the best out of it by taking the win in the Nitro Buggy class from Javier Biurrum (Xray) in 2nd and Nicolas Demicheri (Mugen) in 3rd.

Penguin Dart Cougar Laydown body shell

Schumacher have introduced the new Penguin Dart body shell for the Cougar Laydown 2WD buggy. The new body is specifically designed for low profile LiPos, ideally 22.5mm and below, and thanks to the body’s low and sleek design it offers a lower centre of gravity and cool new looks. It includes overspray film, window masks and Penguin decals and it is available in a standard or lightweight variant.

Mugen MRX & MTX muffler stopper

Mugen have introduced their new muffler stopper for their MRX and MTX series of nitro on-road cars. The machined aluminium stopper will make for additional fixing of the exhaust pipe, ensuring the pipe will not come off during a run. The stopper is usable with most on-road exhaust pipes and it includes a grub screw.

Xray T4’20 ARS aluminium C-hubs

Xray have introduced different aluminium C-hubs to fine-tune the setting of their recently announced ARS system for the T4 2020 kit. Machined from high-quality Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and coming in 0 degree, 2 degree and 4 degree caster settings, the hubs help to adjust the overall wheel caster and thus available traction and side bite with the 0 degree parts being recommended for medium to high-bite tracks, the 2 degree hubs are best used on medium-low to medium-high conditions and the 4 degree hubs excel in ultra-low to medium traction conditions. The parts feature a black surface coating and the 2 degree and 4 degree hubs are available separately for the left or the right hand side of the car.

Lit R/C Products RC8B3.1 Delrin hinge pin inserts

Coming from Lit R/C Products and made for the Team Associated RC8B3 series of vehicles is a set of Delrin hinge pin inserts that includes “in-between” 0.5 degree setting square pills. These insert are CNC machined out of durable white Delrin, and are designed to last much longer than the stock factory pill inserts. This set comes with the sought-after “Tweener” pills as well. The pack of 20 square pill inserts includes four center, four .5 out, four 1 out, four .5 corner, and four 1 corner inserts that are also available separately in 10-piece sets.

ProTek aluminium turnbuckle wrenches

Coming from ProTek are their new aluminium turnbuckle wrenches. They feature perfectly sized tool heads, cut at a 45 degree angle to make it easier to get into hard to reach spots and make precise adjustments. The wrenches are available in a variety of sizes, including 4mm/5mm, 5.5mm/6.0mm, 3.0mm/3.2mm and 3.5mm/3.7mm, and they are precision machined from lightweight aluminium, with a black anodised finish and silver chamfered edges. The tools are available separately or as a complete set.
