…plenty of opportunity to adjust to track conditions. The usual three classes were running, 17.5 Blinky, 13.5 Open and Formula One. Sunday race day and four round by round qualifying runs was the order of the day after controlled practice in heat order. The track had been swept and prepped with a mix of sugar water for both days so the grip was there straight away for every competitor. Round 4 of the Austrian IC Track National was held at the Stöhr Ring this past weekend. In the supporting, and growing, 1/8th Electric Stock class, that attracted nine racers, it was Manuel Gremlica (Buri Racer) with the TQ and win from the Corally duo of Patrick Wendy und Harald Wendy. During this week’s 2018 IFMAR ISTC World Championships, held in Welkom, South Africa, Serpent’s David Ehrbar is running a prototype of the forthcoming S110 S4 1/10th formula car. David had his first roll out of the car in China in the days before making his way onto Welkom for the race. …with seven timed runs for all classes in heat order. The usual three classes were running, 17.5 Blinky, 13.5 Open and Formula who run alongside the Clubman’s Championship but are competing for the National Title. Four round by round qualifying runs were the order of the day. Many drivers had thought after Saturday practice there cars were on point, but with a hotter track for race day this was not the case for most. Various tyre prep was tried along with setups but qualifying ended with a few drivers out of place to where you would expect to see them….

T-Works have introduced their new multi-function switch hole cover with connector lock, usable for nitro off-road vehicles. The part was designed to fit right onto the on/off switch areas of nitro-powered vehicles, while the connector holder – designed for standard male and female universal-type plugs – securely holds the connector in place.
