Xtreme Aerodynamics 1/8th on-road body stiffeners

Xtreme Aerodynamics have introduced new carbon fibre stiffeners for their range of 1/8th scale on-road body shells. Moulded from high-quality carbon fibre material the stiffeners sit inside the body shell, ensuring greater stability and durability compared to polycarbonate stiffeners and thus improving overall aerodynamic performance. The stiffeners are understood to fit all of Xtreme Aerodynamic’s 1/8th on-road bodies and they will become available soon.

LMR YZ-2 Apollo & YZ-4SF Delta body shells

Nemo Racing have released more LMR goodies in the form of the Apollo body shell for the Yokomo YZ-2 and the Delta body for the YZ-4SF buggy. Both provide an overall lower centre of gravity for increased steering while the Apollo is also offering additional cooling for the motor. Both bodies are moulded from high-quality polycarbonate material and they come clear.

Infinity IF14-2 low-friction belts

Coming from Creation Model and made for their Infinity IF14-2 touring car are new low-friction transmission belts. Available as 3x399mm front and 3x309mm rear variant the popular white belts greatly reduce the natural drivetrain drag in order to improve acceleration, top speed and run time. The belts are available separately and recommended for the use with stock motors only.

LMR A319 Stiffy engine mount

Nemo Racing have introduced the new Stiffy engine mount for the Agama A319 nitro buggy. Designed to improve reliability and consistency, the fit and forget product is understood to make for a more dependable gear mesh setting regardless the track conditions by reinforcing the engine and centre drivetrain chassis area. The engine mount is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes black anodised for wear and looks.

Kyosho Fantom vintage 1/12th scale 4WD pan car

Kyosho Europe have released first images of the forthcoming new Fantom EP-4WD vintage 1/12th scale 4WD pan car kit. A first teaser image of the vintage re-release kit already created some stir last week with first images of the real deal making clear that Kyosho is going to bring back one of its most iconic electric on-road cars. The Fantom 4WD will feature simple suspension components, a chain-driven 4WD drivetrain with a gear rear differential, and it is based on a double deck chassis that sandwiches the electronic components such as the steering servo, the electronic speed controller and the battery pack. Arrowmax have released their newest addition for the black-golden line-up in the form of a V2 Ultra pinion holder. Using high-quality aluminium with detailed CNC machining, the cylindrical design pinion holders are ultra lightweight and can hold up to 28 48 pitch or 64 pitch pinions. The accessory comes in Arrowmax’s signature honeycomb design with white Arrowmax logos.

Agama A319E 1/8th scale E-buggy kit – Coming soon

Following a first teaser image back in February, UK Agama distributors Nemo Racing have released more images of their forthcoming new A319E 1/8th scale E-buggy kit. The vehicle will build on the popular A319 nitro buggy, utilising its suspension and most drivetrain components while the clamping motor mount and all other electric-specific parts have been purpose-designed for the electric-powered variant. Official details about the features and specifications have yet to surface but for now here are some nice images of the production kit.

T-Works dual use 5.5mm/7mm socket driver

Coming from T-Works is their new dual use 5.5mm/7mm socket driver. Of a clever design the tool allows to access a 5.5mm or 7mm nut driver by simply twisting and sliding the tool tip body up and down, with he “up” position offering a 7mm nut driver while pushing down the cap down reveals the smaller 5.5mm nut driver. The wrench utilises T-Works’ standard aluminium tool handle with the tool tip being made of hard anodised aluminium.
