Coming from Active Hobby Products and made for the Yokomo YD-4 drift kit are three new option parts in the form of an alloy steering rack, a composite rack arm set and a body mount bar. The third round of the West German 1/8th Off-road regionals was held this past weekend in changing weather conditions. Offering everything, from a little moist to soaking wet and also dry high-grip conditions, the race was a true test for man and machine. …drivers were greeted by dry weather along with a slight breeze across the track. However the track was still a little moist from the overnight rain. As practice got underway the track was drying out well and the lap times were coming down. Bedworth’s race director and club chairman Bob Burr along with Schumacher’s Mark Musgrove gave the drivers briefing and explained the format for the day. Mendip raceway played host to round four of the BRCA 1/10th 200mm National Championship. The weekend offered more competition than normal for the drivers with Kyle Branson and reigning World Champion Alexander Hagberg among the entries. Saturday practice began and it was clear to see that it would be a close weekend of racing with there being five drivers all on pretty much the same pace.
