EXC AMP 1/10th monster truck & desert buggy

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new ECX AMP line of 1/10th 2WD ready-to-run off-road cars. Coming as monster truck and desert buggy both vehicles offer a tough construction as well as waterproofing, making them the ideal for all-weather bashing and as beginner’s cars. Building on a tough nylon composite chassis the cars feature oil-filled shock absorbers, a 2WD transmission with gear differential, captured hinge pins as well as a 540-size 20T brushed motor and a full-range 2.4GHz transmitter. The package is rounded out by a 7.2V NiMH battery and a Dynamite wall charger. Both the buggy and the truck are available in two different bodyshell designs.

Designed to match the standard suspension geometry and made from high-quality material the red anodised spindles improve the durability of the front suspension while adding visual impact at the same time.

Samix SCX-10 aluminium hub carriers

Samix have new aluminium hub carriers for the Axial SCX-10 off-road truck available. They are machined from high-quality aluminium and are designed to replace the stock hubs for more durable parts. The laser-etched hub carriers are available in the four colours of green, black, gun metal and silver, they are direct replacements for the stock carriers and include suitable mounting hardware.

Team C 1.9" crawler aluminium rim

Team C Racing have introduced a 1.9″ aluminium rim for 1/10th rock crawler. The multi-piece wheel is machined from high-quality material and it comes with bead-lock rings in red anodising, making them usable with a range of 1.9″ tyres. They come as pairs and should fit most 1.9″ crawlers.

Losi LST electric conversion kit

Coming this Fall is Losi’s electric conversion kit for all LST-based gas or nitro trucks. Included are all needed parts to convert the truck to accommodate your choice of a monster truck compatible brushless system as are a new aluminium main chassis plate, composite side rails, gearbox halves, battery, speedo and motor mount as well as gears and hardware. The conversion will become available by mid-October.

Losi 1/14 Mini Desert Truck 4WD RTR kit

Based off of the popular Mini 8ight platform is Losi’s forthcoming 1/14 Mini Desert 4WD truck. Loaded with a powerful 4500Kv brushless motor, a 2S LiPo-compatible speed controller and equipped with an uncompromising 4WD drivetrain, this highly capable desert truck can handle nearly anything thrown its way. Included with the car, that also features oil-filled shock absorbers, scale-inspired wheels and a Dakar-style body shell is a 7.2V 1200mAh NiMH battery, a suitable AC wall charger and a 2.4GHz radio system.

Pro-Line Yeti body shells & Traxxas Pro-Spline HD axles

Pro-Line have two new body shells for the Axial Yeti as well as the pre-assembled Pro-Spline HD axles for a range of Traxxas 2WD and 4WD kits available. Starting with the bodies, both the Ford F-150 Raptor SVT and the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon are tailor-designed to fit Axial’s popular Yeti rock racing buggy. Both bodies make use of the original Yeti cage and interior to make them look like real race trucks and they come made from high-quality polycarbonate material and include a comprehensive decal sheet and window masks.
