Maverick iON RX & DT 1/18 scale RTR vehicles

The 1/18th scale range of iON vehicles from Maverick has been expanded with two brand new models in the form of the iON RX rallycross car and iON DT desert truck. The two new vehicles join the already available iON XB buggy, iON XT truck, iON MT monster truck and iON SC short course truck, which have also been updated with new paint designs, wheels, electronics and more. The new iON RX and iON DT kits share the same spare parts list as the existing models and also come with new top-spec features such as a Maverick Element 1200mAh Ni-MH battery, MTX-248 2.GHz radio and a 2-in-1 waterproof MSRS-248 receiver/speed controller. Also new for all the Maverick iON vehicles is a complete set of gold-coloured shock caps for the oil-filled shock absorbers.

JConcepts Ford Atlas scale bodyshell

Made for the Vaterra Ascender as well as Axial 1.9″ trucks is the new JConcepts Ford Atlas trail bodyshell. The look of the Atlas is unmistakable contemporary Built Ford Tough, with bulging wheel arches, a drop-down beltline at the front doors, and some of the biggest snarling grille nostrils ever seen on an F-150. The Atlas body is specifically built for the Vaterra and Axial 12-12.3″ wheelbase chassis, providing even more versatility to the platforms. Fitting bumper to bumper, the body has all the possible detail of its full-scale counterpart starting behind that oversized grille. Split headlight design with corner reveal turn signal points the Atlas in the right direction while edgy hood detail bulks around the wide-body fenders to provide plenty of clearance for an assortment of large 1.9″ tires. The extra cab look is defined by the recessed windows and the roof has a unique center channel and extruded touches emulating the roof-carrying system shown on the prototype Atlas vehicle.

New from LRP comes the S10 Twister 2 Monster Truck Limited Edition ready-to-run kit. The 2WD electric off-road vehicle comes factory-assembled and it features an adjustable competition-inspired suspension with large-volume oil-filled shock absorbers, a sturdy drivetrain with metal gear differential, robust steel driveshafts and an adjustable slipper clutch. Included are also a powerful 540-size brushed motor, digital LRP AI Runner V2 speed controller, high-performance water-proof steering servo and a 2.4GHz radio system. Axial Wraith Spawn 1/10th Scale Electric 4WD kit

New from Axial come the Wraith Spawn 1/10th 4WD off-road vehicle in kit form. It is packed with performance features and option parts such as the AR60 OCP axles, 2.2″ Maxxis Trepador tyres and proven Method IFD beadlock wheels. Also included are aluminium lower suspension links, WB8 HD driveshafts and an unpainted Spawn bodyshell.

The Rally Legends Ford Focus WRC clear bodyshell

Following the introduction of the Ford Focus WRC 2001 RTR kit The Rally Legends now announce the release of a Focus WRC bodyshell set. Coming made from clear polycarbonate the set also includes parts for the rear wing as well as details such as mirrors and wipers as well as decals for the grille, headlights and taillights. The body is made to fit most 190mm touring cars.

Yeah Racing Wraith HD lower aluminium links

Yeah Racing introduce lower front and rear aluminium links and shock mounts for the Axial Wraith crawler. The CNC-machined heavy duty parts come in gun metal colour with silver chamfered edges and they are made to improve the durability and looks of Axial’s successful off-road kit. The parts are a direct replacement for the standard pieces and come in sets of two.

Maverick DesertWolf & TimberWolf 4WD RTR kits

HPI Racing introduce the all-new Maverick Wolf range of ready-to-run vehicles. Coming as DesertWolf 1/8th scale E-buggy and 4WD short course truck, both are fitted with powerful electronics such as a 4000Kv brushless motors and waterproof 3S-capable speed controllers that combine to give and amazing acceleration and top speed. The cars build on ultra-strong aluminium and composite chassis, they feature all-metal front, centre and rear differentials, front universal driveshafts, and heavy-duty chassis braces. The chassis are equipped with water-resistant receiver boxes and the suspension utilises fixed camber links and long-stroke oil-filled shock absorbers. Included in the packages are also waterproof metal gear steering servos and 2.4GHz radio systems. Also the DesertWolf buggy comes with a unique bodyshell that allows to run it as cab forward or a more standard looking variant by simply flipping it around.
