Coming from Samix and made for the Element RC Enduro trail truck is a brass driveshaft cap set. Included are two thin and two thick driveshaft caps that add a total weight of 17g to some of the lower parts of the chassis, which results in improved climbing performance. In addition the caps ensure greater drivetrain durability while adding visual impact. The parts come as 4-piece set and they feature a black surface coating and gold-coloured Samix logos.
Tamiya have announced the soon release of their GF-01TR based Monster Beetle Trail kit. The 1/14th scale truck is based on the GF-01TR monocoque chassis that features a centrally placed motor, double wishbone suspension components with portal axles and gum-filled gear differentials. The vehicle is decked out by a moulded plastic body shell with separate window inserts and chrome details such as fog lamps, engine and exhausts. Yellow wheels and grippy chevron/pin tread tyres round out the package. The kit will hit stores in September.
Coming for the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport is JConcepts’ new 1982 GMC K10 12.3” wheelbase truck body shell. For the early 80’s model year, the iconic square body emerged, a chiseled front-end, gently swept back from the center. Fenders were redesigned as well as the hood and the classic vent windows. A new sloped hood replaced the previous generation hood that had less rake, and the exterior changes include optional headlights and an updated tailgate. Side-markers were now horizontal rather than vertical which is another tell-tale look of the later generation styling. The wheel wells have been scaled to the original size vehicle, for the most clearance on class 1 and 2 tires or maximum articulation, it will be necessary to trim further into the fender flares for the tire size used. The square body generation spanned an incredible 14 years and with small changes to grille, headlights, and trim packages throughout the years, JConcepts has added a bonus to the included decal sheet. An incredible 5 different grille options are included on the sheet giving the user the option of their favorite square body grille and trim package. Quadruple light and double light bezel setups are included which contain bar and tube grille combinations. In addition, a plethora of badges are offered on the sheet featuring Sierra Grande, Custom Deluxe, Cheyenne, Scottsdale and Silverado combinations. The body is a direct fit for Traxxas TRX-4 Sport, Element Enduro and Axial SCX10 II 12.3 inch wheelbase trucks.
RPM have announced the release of new front lower arms for the popular Losi Rock Rey vehicle. The Rock Rey is known to be a monster of a performer and the RPM front arms promise a much needed increase in strength. While RPM A-arms are stronger than stock, they’ve also been designed with added bellcrank clearance to protect that hard-to-get bellcrank from heavy, full compression suspension slams. Added protection means fewer trips to the pits and more time on the rocks. The new arms are also extremely light, weighing in at 11 grams per pair lighter than stock and less unsprung weight means faster acceleration and braking as well as better suspension performance. Yeah Racing have introduced an aluminium axle housing for the Axial SCX10 II trail truck. Coming in hard-coated black or silver appearance, the axle housing is precision CNC-machined for best possible fitment and looks. In addition the metal axle housing, that is usable on the front and the rear of the truck, will improve overall durability, drivetrain efficiency, and stability and it includes bearing holders as well.

Associated Electrics have announced the release of new Factory Team option parts for the Element RC Sendero trail truck. First up are optional aluminium fairleads for the Sendero bumper that increase durability and provide a custom look. They are available in four colours including natural silver, gun metal, green and blue. Also new are aluminium and brass bead lock hex adaptors that increase durability and provide weight where it is needed. These hex adaptors also feature the SLW-style bolt pattern and can be used on many aftermarket wheels. The brass hex adaptors add 15.4 grams per wheel for a total weight increase of 61.6 grams while the aluminium hex adaptors add 4.9 grams per wheel for a total weight increase of 19.6 grams. Last but not least come 6mm steel wheel hexes that increase durability and provide a total weight increase of 15.2 grams.
Xtreme Racing have introduced their new Speed Chassis kits for the Traxxas Rustler and Slash 2WD trucks. Extending the wheelbase and offering multiple battery layouts – including dual standard-length 2S, 3S and 4S packs – the chassis kits were designed to allow the building of extreme speed racing rigs. Available as carbon fibre or G10 fibre class variants, both include a main chassis, top deck and ESC mount, battery strap holder, battery straps, small and large standoffs as well as steering posts and servo mounts. Not included however are the needed donor Rustler or Slash trucks.
Element RC have announced the release of the Sendero utility bed for the use with the stock Sendero cab trail truck body shell. The utility bed features a simple design that is easy to assemble and fits right onto the stock Sendero body posts. Constructed of plastic and high-strength polycarbonate, the Sendero utility bed is both lightweight and durable. The set includes the 5-piece construction, clear polycarbonate floor, and all needed hardware.
