Team Magic Seth 1/8th RTR desert truck

Following various teasers on social media Team Magic have finally unveiled their new Seth 1/8th ready-to-run desert truck. The 4-wheel drive truck is powered by a 150A waterproof electronic speed controller combined with a 6S LiPo-compatible 2200kV high-speed brushless motor. A 15kg Savöx steering servo supplies strong steering control and all electronic components are splash waterproof. The chassis is made of 4mm strong ultra lightweight aluminium and three differentials equipped with CNC-machined bevel gears supply the power to every wheel. Aluminium shock towers and rear stiffener reduce the chassis tweak as included anti-roll bars make for less chassis roll and adjustable rods for an easy setup. Flexible front and rear bumpers as well as a durable high performance rear wing help to absorb shocks and offer optimised aerodynamics for better traction. The truck is rounded out by realistic high performance tyres and a buggy body shell with durable roll cage.

HPI Racing Jumpshot alloy C-hubs & rear hubs

HPI Racing have introduced new aluminium option parts for the Jumpshot series of monster trucks. The anodised alloy parts increase the durability and help to look cool. The alloy front C-Hub sSet is the perfect addition to anyone who drives their Jumpshot hard in demanding conditions. It prevents damage to the front end that would otherwise force a repair to the stock plastic C-Hubs. The same applies to the rear hubs that add rigidity to the rear suspension. The parts come as separate sets and are usable on the MT, SC and ST variants of the truck.

RPM Revo 2.0 front arms

Coming from RPM and made for the Traxxas Revo 2.0 truck are left and right front arm sets. Traxxas has upgraded the arms for the 2.0 version of the popular truck, however when the goings gets hard, the arms can still become a weak point of the truck. While offering greater durability thanks to RPM’s renown nylon comping, the design of the arms with angled leading and trailing edges not only cut through the air cleaner and more efficiently, those same edges allow the A-arms to slip up and over tall objects with less chance of a direct impact stopping creating harm. While offering more durability than the standard arms, RPM’s variants also scrub about 10g of weight a pair, improving suspension efficiency. The front A-arms are moulded from RPM’s indestructible blend of engineering grade nylons and sold as one upper and one lower A-arm, as sets for the left or right hand side of the truck and in black or blue colour.

Reedy RC2312 HV digital competition crawler servo

Team Associated have introduced the Reedy RC2312 HV digital crawler servo. Trail-tested and engineered for use in competition-level trail trucks and crawlers, the powerful motor creates incredible torque without sacrificing speed, while an advanced microprocessor provides precision steering control. An all-metal gear set is designed for strength and durability while an integrated aluminium mid-case reduces operating temperatures for fade-free operation. The soft-centring function centres the servo slowly on power-up for scale appearance and steering system damage prevention. High voltage compatibility allows users to take advantage of external BEC units.

RPM Revo 2.0 body savers

Coming from RPM and made for the Traxxas Revo 2.0 is a set of body savers. The set is a simple yet clever solution to prevent the lid from cracking around the body mount holes. RPM disguise the body savers in two separate ways. Out front, they look like moulded hood vents while in the rear, they look like exposed sections of a roll cage. It’s a perfect way to camouflage their intended purpose and yet still keep the body firmly attached. The way they work is straightforward; there are two pairs of screws holding the sub-frame of the body mounting system to the body in both the front and rear of the truck. The body savers tie two pairs of screws together, dispersing the pressure of holding the body to the sub-frame over a wide area of the body. Even if the bottom of the mounting holes in the body are completely ripped out from prior crashes, the system still works. The reinforcements are moulded in black from RPM’s ultra strong, engineering grade nylons for performance and are sold with four body savers in each kit.

Yeah Racing TRX-4 flippable aluminium servo horn

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the popular Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck is an aluminium servo horn. The symmetrical axis arm is of a 2-sided design, incorporating both 23T and 25T servo splines for greater versatility by simply flipping the servo horn around. The arm keeps the TRX-4’s standard steering geometry, however it offers improved rigidity and durability. The clamping design arm will stay in place even after having lost the main servo arm screw and the heavy duty design ensures great steering emphasis especially with today’s high-torque brushless servos.
