David Poulter re-joins Schumacher

Schumacher announce that UK off-road front runner David Poulter has re-joined the team. David is a high performing driver who will be an excellent addition to the UK team and he has the following to say:

I’d like say thank you to TLR & Horizon Hobby UK for their support this year. I am very happy to be returning to Schumacher Racing and am excited about running both the Cougar KF and Cat K1 Aero for the coming season. I am hoping to compete at all rounds of the EOS Series and the Silverstone Winter Series where I will be able to adjust to the cars ready for the UK Nationals in 2015.

Juan Pablo Golobic wins Argentine 200mm champs

Last weekend the Argentine 1/10th touring championships took place in Cordoba. Juan Pablo Golobic took the TQ and the overall win with his Novarossi-powered ride, followed by Novarossi team mate Guillermo San Martino.

New from JQ Products come steel centre dogbones for THEeCar 1/8th E-buggy. Made to replace the standard aluminium dogbones, the parts offer improved durability when running extreme power setups or on tracks with very high traction and/or large jumps. The driveshafts are a lot less prone to bend under heavy loads and available now.

Arrma Kraton 6S BLX speed monster truck

The Kraton 6S BLX speed monster truck is Arrma’s second 1/8th scale kit following the introduction of the Typhon 6S BLX buggy. The truck builds on a black anodised aluminium chassis plate and features a heavy duty 3-diff drivetrain, long suspension components, aluminium big bore shock absorbers and front and rear anti-roll bars from stock. Universal driveshafts transfer the power of the 6S compatible sensorless brushless motor to the multi-spoke rims with dBoots MT tyres. All electronic components such as the high-torque steering servo and the 180A speed controller are full waterproof while being protected by an inner roll cage at the same time. The truck comes ready-to-run including a 2.4GHz radio system and a pre-decorated bodyshell with a green/carbon or blue livery.

Starting with the receiver packs, the XTEC 2/3A NiMH batteries are available in straight or hump configuration and with your choice of JR/universal or BEC compatible plugs. The 5-cell packs are built using high capacity 1600mAh cells and are usable for on-road and off-road applications alike.

Novarossi Fast Fuel Gun

Available from mid-September is Novarossi’s new Fast Fuel Gun. Lighter and offering a higher flow rate the fuel gun helps to speed-up refuelling for faster pit stops. Included with the fuel gun come two suitable stays to place the gun on when not in use.

Multiple champion and JMRCA touring car national A-main finalist Yugo Nagashima recently joined VBC Racing, the company announced. Yugo will VBC’s latest touring car kit at this week’s 2014 touring car nationals and during his upcoming campaign.

Team C TC10 aluminium spool & front one-way

Team C Racing introduce two new option parts for the TC10 touring car in the form of an aluminium front spool and a one-way axle. Both axles make use of orange aluminium bodies and metal outdrives, they come including a new diff gear and the one-way also includes a pair of ball bearings. While the solid axle is a direct replacement for the kit’s composite assembly the front one-way is a tuning option to adjust on and off-power steering.
