Xray XB4 6 degree composite C-hubs

Xray XB4 6 degree composite C-hubs

Xray introduce these 6° C-hubs for the XB4 buggy. They allow for quick roll centre adjustment using different thickness shims under the camber link ball stud and are made from a tough moulded composite. A large opening for the CVD assembly prevents any clearance issues even at large steering angles and allows for easy maintenance. The C-hubs are marked for identification, they fit all XB4 kits and become available separately as left and right variant.

Antoni Caretti wins at Australian TC nationals

Antoni Caretti wins at Australian TC nationals

The 2013 Australian National titles were held in the Adelaide hills, at the Littlehampton track in South Australia. The race had a lot lower numbers than usual, as some drivers went to the AOC in Japan, and some chose not to come, but none the less the racing was great for those that attended. Massive rain on Friday washed away the track’s sugar treatment and the race director decided not to renew the traction enhancer as the weather forecast promised more rain during the weekend. Saturday again was washed away and only three out of the four qualifiers could be run. Antoni Cartti swept the touring car modified class qualifiers by taking six out of the six rounds. In 17.5T boosted stock Scott Kilford also took six out of the six rounds putting his car in pole position. In the modified class finals Antoni was able to win the first two A-mains in order to grab the 2013 Australian National title adding to his two previous 1/12th victories. In the boosted stock class Scott won A-mains #2 and #3 for a clean sweep of Xray’s latest T4 car.

Bruno Coelho wins Madeira Cup Rd1

Bruno Coelho wins Madeira Cup Rd1

The first Madeira Cup was held at the Madeira Island Off Road track. With most of the participants being on-road racers Xray’s Bruno Coelho, who was invited to assist with car and engine set-up, had loads of work to do. After Saturday’s practice rounds the track was pretty beat-up but the conditions where the same for everyone and it was no surprise that Bruno Coelho took TQ after the qualifiers as he was the most experienced buggy racers on the track. Right from the start of the 45 minute final Bruno took off and never looked back taking the race win one lap ahead of Joao Figueiredo with Vitor Sousa completing the podium in 3rd position.
