A total of 128 drivers signed up for the event with 70 drivers attending in the on-road and 58 in the off-road classes. The touring car modified class was quite a balanced affair. Kuba Šimurda (Xray) took TQ with Radek Flek (Yokomo) sitting only 6/10th behind him. Young Polish driver, Michal Orlowski (Team Durango) came in third. All of the three A-finals then had exactly the same scenario, Kuba Šimurda had brilliant starts and was facing the pressure of Radek Flek and Michal Orlowski in every leg. In the end, he was only controlling his rivals behind him and won all three A-finals. Radek Flek scored two second places handing him the overall second place followed by Michal Orlowski.

Bittydesign Nardò touring car bodyshell

Bittydesign have introduced the Nardò 190mm touring car bodyshell. Tested and developed for several months in Italy by their official development team together with German and Finnish team drivers the final result is a bodyshell with different recognisable features, in particular the front and rear tyres area. Testing has shown that the body gives lots of steering on corner entry but at same time plenty of grip and speed in the second part of the turn along with stability under acceleration. Made to meet EFRA specs, it is expected to receive its homologation number in January. Made from 0.75mm thick high quality polycarbonate, the body comes with a complete set of large plastic washers to fix the rear wing perfectly along with steel screws & nuts. Expect the product to arrive at distributors in the next 10 days.

AKA Slingshot tires renamed Typo

AKA Slingshot tires become Typo

AKA have announced a name change to their Slingshot 1:10 tires. As it turns out, they are much better at designing tires than we are at checking to see if names are already in use within our industry, in this case by Pro-Line. For this reason they have decided to change the name of their Slingshot tires to Typo. While you will see some tires on the shelves with the old name the new Typo branded tires will be hitting the shelves in late December and early January.
