Soren Boy Holst wins Danish National Champs Rd1

First round of the official Danish Indoor Championships was held last weekend in Faxe, on a non-permanent track in a large sports hall. The track had a nice flowing layout, with some technical chicanes and a big sweeper in the middle, and since the same layout had been used for over two years the traction was pretty good right from the start. During Saturday’s practice session it became clear that the battle for the win would be on between Soren Boy Holst, Danni Eyde, Caspar Morgen and Christian Lehm.

Exotek F1R2 Pro conversion kit

ExotekF1R2-01

Available soon from Exotek is the F1R2 Pro conversion kit for the Tamiya F104 and F103. The follow-up model of the F1R received a make-over in order to create a chassis that is not overly complex but strong and consistent. The chassis kit makes use of what Exotek call a hybrid link technology, it basically combines all positive aspects of the classical T-bar suspension with the responsiveness and tuning possibilities of a link-type car to create a platform with improved bump absorption capabilities making it ideal for rubber tyre racing. The new rear pod geometry makes for more progressive damping and increased forward bite while the new twin side dampers allow for equal side-to-side dampening.

Capricorn LAB C801 aluminium servo saver

Capricorn LAB C801 aluminium servo saver

New from Capricorn comes this aluminium servo saver assembly that allows for increased Ackermann geometry changes. The toe link plate and the steering bellcrank are of a split design allowing to change the actual length of the bellcrank by moving the link mounting plate forth and back up to 4mm in order to adjust the Ackermann effect and thus overall steering feeling. The new assembly that contains the servo saver lever, steering bellcrank and link plate is CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium, it comes black anodised and is especially helpful when running spec tyres or on low-grip tracks.

Team C TC10 CVD shafts pistons & springs

Team C TC10 CVD shafts pistons & springs

Team C have new option parts for the TC10 electric touring car available in the form of dual joint driveshafts, optional pistons and additional springs. First up are the driveshafts that are of a dual joint design to reduce friction and wheel chatter during hard cornering. They feature strong retaining clips for the cross pins and come including two 5x10x3mm orange seal ball bearings. Also new are machined 4-hole pistons for the TC10’s low profile shocks. They come as 4-piece set and are an addition to the existing range of pistons. Last but not least are the 28n shock springs that extend the recently introduced range of springs. The 20mm long parts are made from 1.4mm spring steel and not only fit the TC10’s shock absorbers but also many of today’s “low profile” touring car dampers.
