T-Works MBX8-R arm stiffeners & engine screw set

T-Works have introduced new carbon fibre suspension arm stiffeners for the Mugen MBX8-R buggy. Available for the lower rear arms, they help reduce overall arm flex while preventing the built up of dirt. The stiffeners are available in 1mm and 1.2mm variants with the different thickness helping to further fine-tune the flex characteristics. Included with the sets comes suitable hardware. Also for the MBX8-R is an engine mount washer and screw set.

Avid Truss 1/8th truck wheel 4.0”

The Avid Truss 1/8th truck wheel is another innovation by Avid RC. The wheel is extremely important to the overall handling of your vehicle and is often overlooked. Avid took all the unique high-performance features from their 1/8th scale buggy wheel and placed them directly into this design. They also went back to the drawing board on reformulating the material to best withstand the brutally cold weather that racers are now willing to race in. Looking inside the wheel you will see where it gets the name ‘Truss’. The internal ribbing uses the strength of triangles instead of having straight ribs. The focus of the Truss starts at the centre of the wheel, so the tighter triangles help keep the torque strength right where you want it when applying all your throttle, at the nut. Available in yellow and white.

ZooRacing Anti high-performance TC body

Anti is ZooRacing’s new high-performance touring car body. Developed from the experience with the super successful Wolverine body, but with more overall downforce and a more stable rear in mind. Key areas, like a super low nose, a steeper bonnet and arch-designed side windows were carefully optimised. The main body has a more wedge design to improve the airflow to the rear and creates a lot more downforce. For a more fluent handling, the Anti has a little more stretched cabin as well as a homogeneous airflow behind the roof to reduce drag and turbulences. New inverted fin design on the trunk reduces turbulences and increases static stability at the rear section, which results in a better airflow to the new designed rear wing. The rear wing design is curved accordingly to the body lines and has a step/fin design to improve stability. The result is less flex and more downforce on high speeds.
