Hudy Ultimate Solder & Bearing Grease

Shown for the first time at the Toy Fair early last month, Hudy have released more info about their new line of bearing grease and solder. Ultimate solder for the RC professional is 1.0mm thick and 60/40 Sn/Pb and contains 3.3% flux core. The 3m length of solder is nicely rolled into a tiny tube, yet is easy to pull out through the dispensing hole in the cap. Also new is the company’s new line of bearing grease, sold in 3 different variations for different applications.

Losi CA Accelerator & Debonder

Losi have released this CA-Set, which is specially formulated and packaged for use with cyanoacrylate (CA) type adhesives. CA-Set can be used as a primer or an accelerator without compromising the strength of the bond, even when gluing the most difficult materials. CA-Set is available in a 5 oz. aerosol spray for easier application and greater results. Also new is Losi D-Bond, formulated to soften all grades of cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesive, including the specialty grades used for gluing RC car tires. D-Bond is excellent for removing dried glue from skin and most surfaces and is available in a 1 oz. brush-top bottle.

Axial Racing have released this 3XH pipe system set that includes the pipe and 3 distinctive rear exhaust headers (medium torque, high torque, and high speed) so you can fine tune the performance to your driving style. Made from strong lightweight 6061 aluminum and polished to a mirror finish the pipe features a reinforced stinger for added durability for those brushes with the boards. Shepherd Micro Racing has released this new 1600mAh RX battery pack. The high capacity guarantees long drive time without needing to change the batteries meaning a one hour final is not a problem. With the classic 2/3A design this battery pack also fits in many other 1/8th and 1/10th scale cars while the cable, with its 2-pole JR connector, fits all popular receivers.

HPI Baja Endurance Challenge series

HPI Europe wanted us to mention the Challenge series they are preparing for this year. Using the Baja desert racing buggy, teams of racers from around Europe will be racing all summer to qualify for a huge 12-hour endurance race in Spain at the end of the racing season. Baja racers in every European country will be racing in dedicated Baja races, and winning teams from each nation will be invited to participate in the HPI Baja Endurance Challenge Finals. The epic 12-hour Finals race will be held in the sunny south of Spain in September at the end of the racing season, the perfect place to race the Baja and chill out with friends. The race entry will include weekend race entry for 4-6 racers, a racer banquet on Friday night, hotel rooms, Baja parts for the race weekend, tickets for raffle prizes and much more.
