Seen at the Toy Fair at the beginning of February, Team Orion have released their range of Marathon LiPo SLPB Receiver Packs. Receiver packs are more important then most people realize with many a title being lost by drivers using substandard receiver packs that don’t delivery enough endurance or simply fail when the pressure is on. Wins are something Team Orion takes very seriously and with its World Championship team it needs the world’s best. Byron Gen2 Race Fuel

Byron Gen2 Race Fuel

CML have been in touch to let us know that they are taking pre orders for the soon to be available Byron Gen2 Race Fuel. Byron Originals has engineered a unique and revolutionary lubrication package that is said to combine a greatly increased flow rate with improved film strengths that enhance performance while providing better lubrication qualities. Increased flow rates and increased film strengths of the Gen2 package produce less heat and less heat produces a broader and less critical needle setting while increased flow rates enable leaner needle settings that result in more laps per tank and less pitting for fuel.

Schumacher Cat SX body off shots

Schumacher Cat SX

We brought you pictures of the new Schumacher Cat SX 4wd buggy last week and as promised the British company have released some pictures showing the car with the body shell off. The first thing you notice about the car is the 3 belt drive train that is mounted very high in the car, above the battery and radio gear. This allows the motor to be mounted along the centre line and it is said to have an adjustable internal transmission ratio to optimise the car for brushed or brushless motors. Also according to the features list the motor rotates the same direction as the wheels which is said to create a car with superb jumping responsiveness and no torque steer effect, as is common with shaft drive cars.
