Axon TC10/2 touring car teaser

Our friends at Axon have released a teaser image for their upcoming TC10/2, the follow up to the TC10, a BD10 conversion. Set to be fully unveiled at a later date, with the release planned in for late February or early March, this new update is set to feature some major updates. With the release of the TC10/2 and recent signing of Akio Sobue as their factory driver, Axon are looking to position themselves as a serious player in the class. More details as we get them.

Xray X4 aluminium & brass chassis T-braces

From Xray for the X4 is this are two new chassis T-braces, in aluminium and brass. Designed to make the car more stable, it generates more rear traction and allows chassis flex adjustments to alter steering characteristics by adding and removing screws from the brace. Brass material puts weight (8 grams) in the centre of the chassis and helps to lower the CG.

Exotek B6.3 drag car titanium axle set

Exotek have produced this super light titanium axle set for the B6.3 and B6.2 drag race cars. The use of titanium reduces the weight and rotating mass of your driveline for quicker acceleration. Over 40% lighter than the stock steel axles at only 3.5 grams each, these are for experienced drag racers only as titanium is lighter than steel.

Lex Tyler joins Reds Racing

Reds Racing are happy to announce that the 1/10 touring class multi-winner Lex Tyler has joined their team for the 2022 and 2023 racing season. Lex will be using Reds Racing 1/10 electronics and will be attending several important competitions in the next months. Yokomo YD-2 ZX RWD drift car

Yokomo have released the ZX, the pinnacle of their YD-2 series RWD drift car. Featuring a flexible high traction graphite double deck chassis, the steering servo is now mounted on the chassis and the upper deck is also flexible for a smoother steering feel without interfering with the flex of the main chassis. The Z-spec gearbox is equipped with a special heat sink motor mount and the motor is set to a high mount allowing the battery to be relocated to the rear end and the weight to be placed closer to the rear axle for better traction without compromising performance. Gorgeous aluminium parts such as the front bulkhead, suspension mount, shock towers, and big bore shocks are used to create a high quality machine configuration. Available in three highlight colours, red, black and purple.

Xray X4 wheel hub -0.5mm offset

For the X4, Xray introduce these -0.5mm wheel hubs for low to medium grip traction conditions. Making the car 0.5mm narrower per side they can be used individually on the front and rear. Lightweight & perfectly balanced they have been made from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and are black anodised. Sold as a pair.

Infinity IF18-2 front oneway set

Creation Model have produced this all new front one way set with larger diameter one-way bearings for greatly improved durability. Made for the Infinity IF18-2, the cup joints now feature a stopper from the inside to prevent them from popping out. The timing of the drive transmission to the front tire has also been changed, resulting in milder, easier-to-drive characteristics. The overall weight has been reduced to 23g, 5g lighter than the original.

RC-Project S35-4 brass weight & delrin bushings

RC-Project have released three new items for the SWorkz S35-4 starting with this 15g front/rear weight. Made of black PVD coated brass, it fits perfectly without touching any other components and leaves the necessary space to prevent binding in the chassis. Thanks to its twin holes it can be mounted on the rear / front of the car. Next up are two different sets of delrin bushings for the brake cams and for in the Ackerman plate. The bushings offer tight tolerances to ensure a perfect coupling, eliminating play while reducing maintenance and eliminating the problem of unpleasant bearing failures.
