Hot Bodies have announced the upcoming release of 2 new additions to the Moore-Speed range of body shells. The C-Class bodyshell features fantastic all-around downforce for a solid performance at all tracks and is tuned for low-drag, high downforce aerodynamics. It’s been track-tested for balanced front to rear feel and is great for all types of racing. The Alfa 159 bodyshell gives you increased steering performance for enhanced turning, especially on high-grip surfaces, perfect for racers looking out for maximum force and aggressive steering. Both bodyshells have all the standard features of every Moore-Speed bodyshell: crystal-clear polycarbonate plastic, clear overspray film, realistic vinyl decals, clearly marked cut lines, high-downforce rear wings, cleverly moulded aerodynamic tweaks and IFMAR-standard markings.

Team Magic E4FS Foam Spec

Team Magic have released the foam spec of their E4 electric touring car, called the E4FS. As is expected from a foam spec car, it has been stiffened up with a new 3mm carbon fibre, 96mm wide narrow chassis, while a 2.5mm upper deck with aluminium stiffening posts ensure an extremely rigid chassis. The car is also supplied with front and rear hard coated drive shafts, 3mm thick front and rear shock towers as well as new shock absorbers, new turnbuckles, thicker wishbones and wider belts. This car can also accept most LiPo cells as well as all brushless systems.

Orcan Cleaning spray

German brand Orcan have released this cleaning agent for removing dirt and grim without leaving any residue. Made using isopropyl alcohol, it comes supplied in a small clear bottle which is fitted with a pump spray lid.

Slingshot Batteries offers this durable cell in both Factory and Team levels and has the voltage racers need coupled with longer runtimes and low IR numbers. The new E Power cells are also available in 4500 Stick Packs for longer runtimes and more power for your RC car and come supplied with Tamiya style connector, heavy duty leads and clear shrink. Finally from Slingshot is the E Power 1600MAH RX hump pack which fits most vehicles available in todays market and is a dependable RX pack to use in long main events.

O’Donnell cleaner & O’Lube Krytech Lubricant

O’Donnell have released 2 new must have products for rc racers. First up is this Speed Wash Cleaner that contains five cleaning agents and applies with or without water. It’s safe for titanium, aluminum, fiberglass, clear coat, stainless steel, chrome, rubber, plastic, vinyl and leather. Also new is the O’Lube KryTech Lubricant which has a unique formula that dries to a hard, waxy finish that seals out water and doesn’t attract dust, dirt and grit like lubes that leave an oily film. It’s ideal for reducing friction and gear noise in electric cars and is also great for suspensions, bushings/bearings, steering systems, anywhere there’s metal-to-metal, metal-to-plastic or plastic-to-plastic.

Futaba 4GWD Surface stick radio

Futaba have announced the successor to the company’s 4VWD, the 4GWD, which features an LCD screen, just one of the great upgrades this radio has over the 4VWD. Four proportional channels of surface control means that this radio is ideal for applications such as tanks, big rigs and robots and the 4GWD allows for easy and accurate access, scrolling and programming of the system’s many functions. Supplied with a R124H Receiver & two S3004 servos, it is available in January.

Edit Fleece Pit Towel Silver

Edit have added a new stylish silver version of their original fleece towel to their range of merchandising. Featuring an embroidered green and white Edit RC logo, the pit towel is 1250mm (over 49 inches) long so you’ll have plenty of room to lay out your rallycross buggy, truggy, or touring car and have plenty of room at each end for tools, music player and phone. At 740mm (over 29 inches) wide, you’ll have space for a power strip, power supply, multiple chargers, light, food and drink.

Jerome Sartel confirmed at Xray

Although not in any doubt following the announcement at the start of the month, Xray have confirmed that top French racer Jerome Sartel has signed to race the XB8EC & XT8 for 2008. Jerome had the following to say:

First of all, I would really like to thank to my previous sponsors for their fantastic support during all the previous years; we shared great moments and they gave me the opportunity to attain such results. Nowadays, everything is going faster and worldwide in RC cars, and as such I am grateful for the opportunity that Xray is giving me to integrate into their team.
