Romagnoli clinches Italian National title

Another report from Xray this time on the 3rd round of the Italian electric touring car Nationals that were held recently at the Gubbio track (host of last weekends EFRA GP). Conditions were hot and the track was very fast and after qualifying it was Michele Romagnoli who claimed the TQ ahead of Maurizio Taddei in 2nd and Simari Andrea in 3rd. The 1st final saw a big pileup at the start, but at the end it was Michele Romagnoli who took the win with a big gap of 8 seconds back to Costanzo in 2nd. The 2nd final was won by Sala with his Corally Phi ahead of the Xray of Marco Gennari, with Maurizio Taddei ending up in 3rd place. So the big battle was set for the last final, and this time Romagnoli won again in style with only a 1 sec gap on Sala in 2nd with Taddei again in 3rd place.
