This ‘BRCA Edition’ Hyper 8 comes standard with a race legal CNC heatsink Hyper 21 3-port, non pull start, engine and Hyper starter box for reliable and effective starting time after time. In addition to the high quality Futaba radio equipment, the servos used are a heavy duty Futaba 9kg for the steering unit and a 6kg throttle servo to handle even the toughest demands of racing. Much More Sweep Pit Mat

Found via RC Forum, it appears that Korean company Much More have released some new large pit mats under the same name as their new control tires, Sweep. Similar to those made by US company Upgrade RC, in that they are compartmented rubber work mats, they will come in 3 colours, black, blue and grey (not shown).

SJ Perfect Balancer

Japanese company Powers International have started selling this, what is effectively a voltage regulator, by SJ called the Perfect Balancer. Used for charging you Lipo cells (2-5 cells), it is connected between your normal charger and the battery and it equalizes the power going to the cells to ensure correct and complete charging. When not connected to your charger it can be used as a discharger, providing balanced and safe discharging between cells.

Werks Racing have announced that after months of exhaustive testing in competition conditions, they will enter the Truggy tire market with it’s new “Lugs MT” tire. Developed specifically for competition use utilizing Werks Racing’s proprietary high grip, low wear rubber compounds for maximum grip and longevity.

The “Lugs MT” is designed around our completely new, low profile carcass design with a rounded side wall profile. The low profile carcass design provides immediate steering response while the rounded side wall profile reduces carcass roll. Additionally our new carcass design virtually eliminate ballooning without the need for heavy internal ribbing as used by others. Combine our unique carcass design with our specially developed white foam inserts that are virtually immune to breaking down and you end up with a MT tire/insert package that is as much as 25% lighter than other products on the market.

M Mod hollow 2-speed Mugen Shafts

Released by MID under the M Mod brand are these 2 lightweight 2-speed gearbox shafts for use on the 1/8th scale Mugen MRX4 and 1/10th scale Mugen MTX4. Made from special hardened and precision-polished metal, these shafts are very stiff so are resistant to bending, even under extreme force, and because they are hollowed out they have now 20% less rotating mass.

CML have announced that they will be selling the new O’Donnell TGX1 Temp Gauge, with built in Stopwatch. Coming supplied with a handy belt mounted carry case, the TGX1 reads engine temperatures and takes lap times and displays it all on its big backlit LCD screen. It’s the only tuning tool of its kind, and the only two-in-one tuning tool equipped with the O’Cone sensor shield, an innovation that boosts the accuracy of temperature readings three ways.

JConcepts car stand updated

Yet more news from JConcepts, this time its to announced that their car stand has been updated. The new features include detailed foam pads provide a non slip surface, thickened edge on the stand for extra support and it now includes car stand specific decal sheet. These changes are considered a running change and should start appearing in all car stand packages at no additional cost.
