MID, the Mugen importers for Germany and makers of All Mod parts, have announced that their off road air filter carrier, that we showed you previously, will now come with the foam filter included as standard. They have also announced the sale of spare foam filters in 2 different sets, one with 2 external filters and 1 internal filter and another set with 6 external filters and 2 internal filters. Xenon Racing of Japan have shown their latest new product at this weeks show in Japan, this camber gauge. Made from blue anodised aluminum, this camber gauge works in much the same was as the Yokomo version we showed you before but with more measurements available. Simply stand the gauge next to the wheel being measured, with the numbers facing up, and adjust the wheels camber to the angle of the side that the measurement lines up with.

More stuff from Shizuoka, this time its from Kawada who are showing their version of the Tamiya TA05 on their stand. Kawada recently showed a small pixelated CAD image of this car on their site, sparking some rumours of completely new car from them, but it turns out that it is only another conversion for the popular TA05 platform.

Protoform have just released images of their newly announced 1/8th scale circuit body shell which is apparentley based on the legendary UOP Shadow, one of the greatest CanAm cars of all time. The Shadow features a low profile body to lower the center of gravity and has been developed with the input of 7 time IFMAR World Champion 1:8 racer Lamberto Collari. This body is made to fit the latest chassis from Kyosho, Mugen, and Serpent and is once again it is available in lightweight as well as a regular weight versions. As usual it comes with an add-on spoiler/gurney extension, body stiffeners w/hardware, and protective film.

Trinity have announced the release of this new hi-power in-line exhaust system for all .21 and .28 engines. This is the same style pipe as used by Adam for his 1/8th scale off-road racing and comes available in both a long hi-torque version and a short hi-top end version. This polished pipe features the Drake logo and comes with all hardware included.

HPI / Hot Bodies are out in force at this weeks big hobby fair in Japan, with the Japanese firm displaying, amongst other new products, its new 1/12th pan car. Called the Cyclone 12 we first mentioned it back in February when it was shown in prototype form at the Nuernberg show in Germany. Now the car is finished and will go on sale immediately and it looks pretty good from the pictures we have seen and if the Andy Moores performance at this year 1/12th Euros is anything to go by it should perform very well too.

Our partners have RC Forum from Korea have taken their cameras along to the Shizuoka hobby show in Japan to take some pictures of the new cars and parts on display from the many manufacturers present and among the items spotted was the Hirosaka edition Kyosho Stallion. Other things on display from Hirosaka were optional CVD shafts, shock absorbers, springs and gears as well as the carbon components needed to upgrade your current Stallion to this Hirosaka spec version.

Serpent have a report on their site from last weekends Korean National race which took place on the Kirina Circuit near Seoul, in the North of the country. In qualifying it was Serpent SDD driver Nam Sangjoon that took the TQ spot with a great run in the 10 minute qualifiers to edge out Goo Kibon and Namgoong Wook who qualified 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the final, the top qualifer Sangjoon lead until a battery connection broke loosing the young driver over a minute, and the lead, which fell to Choi NakSung who went on to win while a recovering Sangjoon took 2nd and Oh YongTaek 3rd. Guest driver from Japan Masao Tanaka (above with Nam), driving for Motonica, failed to finish the 45 minute final and came home in 10th.
